Comes with free unlimited wifi, only a block away from the main street. A small bedroom with bed and chest drawers provided. Will have to provide mostly your own food though. We are looking for some help as soon as possible.

We have approx 200 acres of avocado orchard growing on a plateau just 50km from the beaches of Port Macquarie in NSW, 550m above sea level, an especially beautiful spot. Just 4 hours north of Sydney. We are really in need of some helpers immediately for general orchard work.
We have taken backpackers for 25 years now and really enjoy their company, enthusiasm, and assistance. We are a typical Australian horticultural farm, my husband, Colin and I a manager plus casual workers and backpackers, according to the season. While with us you will be treated just as part of the family, living in our home, in your own quarters. We enjoy a healthy diet of meat, vegetables and fruit but can cater for vegetarians.

Our only request is you need to speak fairly good English because we are a fully working farm and for safety, instructions need to be fully understood.

The area is rain forest so there are beautiful walks, a national... more inside

Hi,

We are a family of four living in Grays Point, a leafy suburb south of Sydney. We are looking for one or two people to help around the house and garden. Currently we are re-building a patio which involves some digging and lifting, we need to replace the pool fencing and add some decking next to the pool. Other ongoing jobs include clearing in the garden, cutting back bushes and small trees, weeding and other general household tasks.

We live in a 4 bedroom house with a pool, close to the Royal National Park and Port Hacking River so it's a great location for bush walks, mountain biking and canoeing. We are a short drive or bus ride from the train station where you can catch a train to Sydney, it takes about 40 minutes.

Accommodation and food will be provided in exchange for about 5 hours work a day. You would stay in our spare room with your own toilet next door but sharing a bathroom.

On the 9th of December 2016 we take over a 40 hectare organic farm just inland from the beaches of Byron Bay with two houses and two sheds. We need a team of like minded people to help us to renovate the houses and sheds and set everything up and replant the organic gardens and make way for animals etc etc. We would love people to be a part of the property whether that is for a short time or a long time but they must be hard workers and experienced organic gardeners or farmers or builders or tradesmen with qualifications please.

We (Jill and Alex) are a retired couple (ex-teachers) who live on 1 hectare on the edge of Mullumbimby, North Coast, NSW. We have a large garden and can always do with some help in the garden (weeding, mulching etc) and around the house (window cleaning etc) - at least when all spare accommodation is not taken up by visiting family.

When we travel we enjoy meeting and being with 'locals' so that we get a real feeling and understanding of the culture of the country we are in. We're happy to share that experience with overseas travellers to our part of the world.

We live as naturally as possible and avoid the use of chemicals and poisons. We also encourage wildlife and have planted bird and butterfly attracting plants in our garden. This does mean you could come across the occasional spider or other critter around our home - nothing to be worried about!! Noises outside at night may be frogs, possums, echidnas, fruit bats, bandicoots etc.

Our home is drug-free, apart from ... more inside
