This cattle station is arguably the most fertile and picturesque cattle station in far north Queensland. Aside from fattening some of the finest Brahman and Brangus steers in the country Mt Louis has some of the most diverse land features on the Cape York Peninsula.

Mt Louis is a coastal property located close to the northern end of the Daintree National Park and allows easy access to the Great Barrier Reef. Despite being a highly fertile farming property with rich historical roots Mt Louis is also home to some of the most beautiful virgin rainforest which includes crystal clear creeks ideal for birdwatching, fishing and swimming.

Come and stay with us to learn about the life of a cattleman and lend a hand helping with the many daily tasks on a working cattle station, such as bottle feeding calves, fencing and gardening to name a few.
We also have a boat and when the weather is nice we go out to the great barrier reef fishing and swimming.
We would love to share our home wit... more inside

Hi. I am looking for assistance with animals and general garden chores in our home whilst I am overseas. Rex (my husband) will be onsite and available to instruct. We have 2 rooms available. One is quite large and could accommodate a couple in a queen bed. Second room is small but has a single bed that pulls up to be a Queen as well.
Both rooms overlook the gardens and bush.
We have 2 very friendly dogs and 2 cats as well as 7 chickens. Dog training is in progress for youngest pup who is an 18 month old German Shepherd. Our other dog is 6 years old. Kitties are indoors and all animals get along well.
You must love animals to be considered as they are part of our family!
Weeding and garden tidy up chores in preparation for sale of property will be needed as well. We are close to Noosa and Eumundi and there are 2 cafes and a small store/petrol station with walking distance from our home.
We look forward to welcoming you and hope you will consider us in your journey. Thanks, Meghan

This is a small B&B in the Daintree rainforest and helpers may either do domestic work in the house and help with the B&B or help with my project to create a mixture of a sculpture trail, art gallery, and mini golf. Anyone artistic or with skills in sculpture, is welcome to contact me to see how we can work together. Help with the B&B cleaning, dealing with phone and guests etc. also very welcome as every hour not in the house means an hour extra on the sculpture projects for me. Graphic artists and web designers also welcome for various projects.
We usually only have room for one helper but when we have bigger projects on we can have two.
My partner is Thai so you will get some nice food during your stay.
For more info see our website.
