Beechworth is a beautifully preserved gold rush town in the North East of Victoria. Beechworth is renowned for its bakeries, breweries/wineries and restaurants as well as its fresh local produce.

We are located 5 minutes from Beechworth. Our property is 5 hectares and made up of beautiful gardens, open paddocks and native bush. The property was once used as a bed and breakfast so is very well set up for guests. Accommodation is in a self contained cottage in the gardens. There are many great walks in the area and great cycling.

We are looking for people to help with the garden in exchange for accommodation and meals. Work will mostly involve weeding and cleaning.

Due to our location you will need a car.

We are looking for some help right now so if you are reading this and would like to come south please give us a call. Look forward to meeting some new helpers real soon.
We run two beef and sheep properties.
The farms are run as organically as we can but not certified. We do use some chemical sprays for eradicating blackberries and ragwort. (too many to hoe on the acreage.) There are always farm jobs such as drafting sheep or cattle, weighing them, drenching etc or feeding then other farm work such as harvesting, fencing, weeds etc.
The area is scenically very beautiful and close to Wilsons Promontory and Phillip Island. each of the farms enjoy extensive views over Waratah Bay. There is plenty to do. We also run a lodge for tourist accommodation and functions. See the website. With this in mind we would also be happy to have someone who can help with getting rooms ready for guests or serving coffee, meals etc.

We are looking for one or two people who are outgoing, confident and have initiative, who can help us out with our small farm, home help and looking after our children. We have a girl (10 yrs old) and 2 boys (8 and 6 yrs old). We need someone for a week in May, July and August. We are also happy to have people stay here through out different times of the year, so they can base themselves here and come and go but as long as they cover the times we need them. They have a double bedroom and their own bathroom. We are 3.5 hours from Melbourne and the closest town is 20 km away. We would prefer someone who can drive.
