My house is located a 10 minute walk from Kenmare town centre which boasts excellent restaurants, pubs and an arts centre. The town is on the coast and nestled amongst hills so would suit anyone with an interest in hillwalking, kayaking, fishing etc. There is a golf club and a number of organised activities if you wish to meet like-minded individuals.

I am looking for someone to help me with housework. As a single parent, I would like to have more quality time with my two young kids (6 and 4). I have a lovely en-suite bedroom for visitors but would prefer female help only. An interest in minding children would be a bonus as I could then get some time to myself! I also have 2 cats and a dog. Minimum stay 1 month.

Who we are.....I'm a mum of 1 child, a boy of 11 [who is funny, bright and very talented]. My mother, who has a ginger cat, lives with us. We live in the countryside. Im also a full-time student and work part-time during the weekend. We live in a traditional farmhouse, which is over 150 years old, in beautiful East Clare. Situated in the countryside, we are close to Limerick city [15km]. There is a bus service that runs daily to Limerick. We are closer yet to the well known village of O Briens Bridge [1km], adjacent to the river Shannon, [famous for its fishing, walkways and regattas]. Down the road [6km] stand the scenic town-lands of Killaloe and Ballina. A beautiful arched bridge spans the river joining these two towns, surrounded by small mountains overlooking Lough Derg. We have 2 dogs, a German Shepard/Labrador named Scooby, who is a perfect lady, and a Beagle named Tommy, who [although not so well mannered] is alot of fun. We also have a ginger cat called Whiskey who enjoys... more inside

im a landscape gardener with a background in horticulture. i have a small house close to the nice seaside town of greystones. Currently i am carrying out some small landscape work on my back garden. consisting of terraced patios ( garden is on a steep slope and the only access is through the house), small pagoda over a deck, some live willow fencing and some decking..... when all the hard landscaping is complete ill be looking to condition the retaining beds for some vegetable growing in time for spring.
Upon completion of the garden ill then be looking to do some decorating inside the house....sanding a floor, painting some rooms...etc. if anyone is interested in helping out and having a fun-filled and adventurous time in greystones, dont hesitate to get in touch ;)
cheers
stephen

I was the founder of Irish Seed Savers Association, an environmental charity that works on seed and food security. I have now retired and try and be as self sufficient as I can. We have extensive native orchard; raised bed garden; and hens, and geese. Tommy and I are middle aged and could use a few days help with heavier jobs, we could offer many years of experience in organic growing, biodiversity and seed saving. Seed Saver is still going strong after 20 years and we would bring visitors on a tour to learn about this and related issues. We can cater for vegetarians and non vegetarians. A small seperate wooden cabin is offered for stays from Thurs evening to Sunday evening.

I run a poultry business that supplies hybrid laying hens, poultry accessories and poultry housing from the business location and through markets.

I will need help from February through to October with husbandry - feeding and watering hens, cleaning hen houses and help with preparing hens for the market as well as general maintenance around the small farm. I could also do with some help around the house as in basic housekeeping tasks.

My location is on the periphery of the lovely Burren area in North Clare.

Beautiful, rural eco house in the west of Ireland. The owner is a botanist and plant medicine practitioner. The land represents one of Europe's last wilderness habitats and has a very rich biological diversity - a paradise for anyone interested in wild flowers, lichens, ferns, mosses, butterflies, moths and insects. Many rare and endangered species. Otters, badgers, pine martens and others mammals make their home here. I'm looking for help with house and land in return for accommodation and freedom to learn, explore and share. You'll have a double bedroom, balcony, study/sitting room and bathroom, and full use of the house, microscopes and herb preparation facilities. Organic vegetable and herb garden. The local village is a heart for traditional Irish music. Weather can be terrible but if you are looking for tranquility; you love the land and you enjoy exploration and original research, this may be a wonderful place for you. Short or long term.

We would like to offer accommodation and food in a friendly family home consisting of 4 kids in exchange for help around our garden and home. We have travelled and backpacked alot ourselves so are aware of what it is like and can guarantee a friendly family environment and are willing to show you sights and hidden treasures in the area. We have goats and donkeys so need help with fencing for them. Also strimming, weeding and clearing grass from around newly planted native trees. Our log home is also in need of some maintenance so will be requiring a fresh coat of sealer to get it through another winter.

Would love your help with house and garden maintenance (just under 1 acre) and converting former office to holistic healing/coaching/group space. I grow vegetables, make preserves, dry herbs for teas.
I practice many traditional crafts and am a storyteller/poet and facilitator of personal growth processes. I can tell you about the benefits of Steiner education, and about co-creating with nature and elementals.
I will provide mostly organic, mostly vegetarian food. You will have a lovely room in the beautiful house.
Creative people are welcome and those on a conscious journey in life.
