NON SMOKERS ONLY

Hi We live in a lovely cottage in Norwood SA Walking distance to the city.

I am mum to 10yr old twins Aleksander and Magnus. Sadly my husband died when the twins were nearly 3. Due to a major renovations and then a massive floor we have got rather behind in the house and garden maintenance.

The work is easy just a bit of spring cleaning, helping me with office stuff and trying to sell unwanted stuff on gumtree. The garden needs a tidy and I'd get a skip to get ride of rubbish - so an early spring clean
We had a flood so part of the house needed extensive work and I thank all those helpers that got stuck in and made fixing the problems possible.

first photo Noemie and caroline helping Malcolm who did all the damp proof work twice !!!!!

Just need help from a lovely couple for about a week to 10days. I expect 4hrs work a day in return for food and accommodation. I actually find it easier if you work 8 hrs and have days off.

look forward to hear... more inside

Hi we are a sheep and cropping farm and also run a Bed and Breakfast. We are located half way between Adelaide and Melbourne. Guests could be asked to do anything from sheep work, to tractor work to making beds, gardening or painting. Our son also lives on the property in another house and works on the farm but we often need that extra pair of hands. If you are looking for a stopover and some lovely country air we're the place for you. We have 2 other children who are both overseas. We love meeting new people and traveling. We have a few options for your accommodation depending on how independent you want to be, but to start we have plenty of rooms in our house.

We are a young family who live on a lovely one and a half acre block on the outskirts of Mount Barker. Natasha works long hours and the 2 girls go to primary school.

We have a self contained 1 bedroom cottage on our block which could suit up to 2 helpers (More if you are all travelling together and don't mind a fold out bed in the cottage lounge room). It has its own bathroom, kitchen and garden, so you get lots of space. I am happy to provide most meals but sometimes work late, so helpers can make their own meals in the cottage kitchen (I will provide the food for you to prepare)

We ask that any homestay guests do 3 hours per day (21 hours per week) of general garden maintenance and any extra jobs that need doing (such as painting etc..) as needed. We are close to the township of Mount Barker, which has everything from shops, cafes, cinema, library and excellent public transport to the city or Adelaide.

A 1 1/2 hour drive south of Adelaide, our property is on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. We are surrounded by wildlife. We run beef cattle as well as keeping horses and chickens. There is much work to be done in the garden, in general farm improvement and in re-vegetating bush areas. We are currently extending our vegetable garden. This involves fencing, digging and preparing new garden beds.

We have 2 large dogs that live indoors and outdoors. We have a pet emu called Aussie.

Having your own transport is good but not essential as the farm is 8 Kms from the nearest town.

We offer meals and accommodation in the house in exchange for 5-6 hours of work per day per person. Work depends on your skills and interests. In addition we expect our helpers to assist with meals and keeping the house clean.

Length of stay negotiable - a one week trial period preferred for longer stays.
Musicians and artists particularly welcome.
Same sex couples welcome.

My family and I are currently looking for some help. We have two children, 12 and 13 years of age, and numerous pets, dogs, cats, chickens and even a bearded dragon. We live in a large 4 bedroom home in Keith in South Australia. Keith is roughly 230kms south-east of Adelaide. Keith is a lovely, friendly small town with a population just over 1000. It has a variety of shops that range from a supermarket, pub, post office, news agency, beautiful cafes, and more. Everything is in walking distance. Both my husband and I work in Keith, and our children attend the local school. As my hours and work load have increased at my job, I really need a little bit of help to remain on top of things at home. We are looking for someone to help us for approximately 2-3 hours a day, 4-5 days a week, with things like cleaning, cooking, some gardening. As our kids are a bit older we don't really need child minding as such, but just to have some adult supervision. We need someone who is reliable and abl... more inside

Hi, I'm Maria Carme, originally from Barcelona and with a background on Archaeology and Geographical Information Systems. After backpacking around the world for almost two years, I have settled in Kangaroo Island, where I work part time in hospitality and I try to write fiction based on my travels.

I love interacting with different cultures, and I have been a helper myself, doing some gardening in New Zealand, in a farm in Vanuatu, as a crew in a yacht in Fiji and helping with the daily house shores of a lovely family in Adelaide.

If you like, you can see plenty of information and references about me in my couchsurfing profile:
https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/mariacarme

I live on my own in a lovely cottage in Penneshaw, with a view over paddocks and the see, a bit up hill, but only 15/20 minutes walking to the beach and to the town centre.

I need help at the moment because I had an accident and I can not use one of my hands. Your job would be doing dishes and some c... more inside
