Next door live my lovely family: Zoe my daughter, her husband Johnny, Theo and Meg, my grandchildren.

I would love your help in the gardens, with the animals and with anything that is happening. This can include gardening, building, getting the winters' fuel or helping me get ready for a workshop. I am ideally looking for a longer term Helpx (but short term is ok to) seeking to experience a sustainable, peaceful and Spiritual lifestyle. We are a couple living a simple life in the west of Clare. The farm is located in a quiet dead end road about 2 km from Connolly village. 5 acres have been planted as a Native Woodland. These trees are very small and need constant weeding around them. The rest of the farm is also planted around the borders with various trees , fruit bushes, shrubs, and herbs. Basically all the farm is treated like one big garden and eventually should sustain everyone living here. We keep Pigs,Chickens, and Cows. We also have dogs and cats.We do butcher our own pigs and process the meat , please keep that in mind if you are vegetarian. We prefer couples or friends travelling together who should be over 21 years. Accommodation is in a renovated horse lorry and meals are taken together in the house. There are two bikes available for you to explore the surrounding area. We have a compost toilet outside, which can be a challenge on a rainy day ;). We are looking for motivated, independent hands on people who... more inside
