We are a young couple living in Mannheim. It is not central in Mannheim but the bus station is within walking distance (5 minutes).

You will have your private room, if you are two, you will chare this room. We will provide you either matresses or a bed (depends). Depending on the season you arrive, you also might have an own bathroom. You can use the kitchen, the fridge and i guess that's what you will need. We will most probably be able to provide lots of vegetables, fruits etc.

You can bring pets with you, we will gladly host them as well. The tasks you will be faced with depend on the season etc. In summer there will be some work in the garden to be done (weeding, harvesting etc.), in winter you might iron the clothes, help with other tasks in the house. the time of work we will ask you to do variates. Some day there is less to do than on other days (maybe 2-3 hours / day). so there is time to spend your freetime every day. We can rent a bicycle.
This is only a private... more inside

Hi there,

This place is for people who like to be in nature but still not to far from the city. I live here in a beautiful house with a big garden at the edge of the small town Sehnde right next to the Mittelland-canal.Since four years my house is a small guesthouse.

If the weather is nice you could borrow a bicycle and enjoy a ride. There are two small lakes which invite for a swim on hot summer days and lots of fields and small roads, only used by farmers. Most groceries can be bought in Sehnde and the closest city is Hannover, only half an hour by train.

The work in springtime is weeding the flowerbeds, preparing the vegetable beds, scarify the lawn and other things.

In Summer there is always some weeding to do, mowing the lawn, picking vegetables and fruits, making jams and always some projects.

In Autumn work might be cutting back trees and bushes, raking the lawn, collecting fallen apples from the ground, stacking firewood and other things.

Aside from ... more inside

Hello!
After a fire destroyed our house two years ago we are just in the process of rebuilding our hostel and holiday home "mundi" in northern Germany, 5 minutes from the nature reserve Lueneburger Heide and about 30 Minutes to Lueneburg and 40 to Hamburg. Also we run a homeopathic clinic for animals (and humans) and have a horse. We would be happy about help setting up the garden (plastering), with cleaning the hostel and holiday homes as well as help in the garden and household.
We have been living for a while in New Zealand - so our English is quite good - and we love to have guests and meet people from all over the world.
So we love to hear from you!
Sanne & Peter

Dear helper,
my house used to be a traditional style Bavarian farmhouse in the Bavarian mountains (Alps). There are lots of lakes in my area with crystal-clear water, ideal for swimming, surfing and sailing.
There's a nice river next to our town which is perfect for rafting.
In winter the area is ideal for skiing. There is a huge ski-resort 15 minutes from my house.
It would be great if you could cook and help in the household. You also can work in the garden or do some painting in and at the house. You should work about 3 hours a day.
We are not far from Munich. There is a train every hour, which takes 30 - 45 minutes to Munich.
My son and I would be glad to teach you how to prepare fresh yoghurt, bake organic bread or cook Bavarian food and make you acquainted with the Bavarian way of life in a typical traditional upper-Bavarian village with its numerous local festivals.
I enjoy playing the piano. Of course you can use it, too. We do a lot of outdoor activities like jogging... more inside

Axel and Katy age 50+ are proud owners of a 5 room home in the countryside of Bremen/Germany. Golo is our lucky dog (golden retriever) and Fily is our lovley cat (grey striped). We are looking forward to host a volunteer to help us in the house and garden - whatever you are able to do.

We offer a room and full board. Katy is a little handicapped, but very independent. Katy would like some help, with sweeping, dusting, laundry, walking the dog, easy gardening and so on...

We are open minded, easy going, and as happy as can be!
We hope you are the same.... WELCOME

We are happy to host you from January 2018 onwards

-------------------------------

We are a family of 5, with three kids aged 1,4 and 6. Two years ago we have bought an old thatched house in Schleswig-Holstein, in the very North of Germany. We live quite remote (5km to the next store), but it is also only 5km to the Schlei fjord and 15km to the next beach town at the Baltic Sea.

We would need someone who is experienced with interior construction, as there is a lot of renovation work coming up in the house. However, we are also looking for people who like to help with looking after our kids and people who like gardening. In summer, we want to set up a vegetable patch and help would be greatly appreciated. In addition, there is always enough work to do in the gardens. We have some 25 chicken, 2 cats and some fish in the pond.

We have both travelled a lot and speak German, English and some French. Kirsten has worked as a WWOOFer in Canada. We like the idea of having the w... more inside

Hallo!

I am looking for someone to do a work exchange for four hours a day to help me look after my gorgeous and uber loving Bordie collie Ziggy Startdust.

We are a small family with a 1 and a bit old baby.

Your tasks would be a mix of dog walking, and odd jobs (shelf assembly/montage, painting, varnishing, wallpaper removal)

This would also work well for a couple/two friends.

You will have your own room and all meals in exchange for 4 hours work per day with one full day off per week.

I live in Kreuzberg, near Schlesisches Tor (http://www.theguardian.com/travel/2008/oct/11/berlin-germany) next to the spree.

Dates available: Now, ongoing.

If you are interested, please write me a detailed request, outlining your relevant experience with dogs and children.

*** Can negotiate some pocket money too! ***

We're a community of about 100 people (30 children included) and another 30 special children and young people who live with us.

We live in the midst of lovely woods and farmland close to the river Elbe in lower saxony/northern germany.

We try to create a place where life, friendship, knowledge and nature mingle in the most beautiful way possible – you'll meet a lot of young people, tons of things to do, fun all along and new experiences in many different ways:

organic farming with kettle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, fowl and so on, gardening both with flowers in our park-style gardens, with medical plants and fruit and vegetables, construction work, cooking, child care, bakery, dairy and so on. All of it on the background of getting to know each other, evolve, enjoy life together …

We work a lot and we expect you to have fun working hard, too. But it's satisfying and fun, because we do it together, and it's not done for profit but in order to create something new, mean... more inside

Hello there!
We are a non-profit permaculture project, building up a forest garden since `98.
We are experimenting with edible plants and methods for self-sufficiency to learn about how to grow foods in alternative, sustainable and vegan ways.

Interested people can join in for a shorter or longer stay. We do not live together, but we have a small office room in Verden that we share for working and cooking and where up to two guests can sleep.

We organize our food together and offer guests to join in. We can not offer food for free because we don't make any money with the project but depending on the time and availability we can offer harvested food and also food that we got donated or from dumpsterdiving. Other than that we would welcome if you could support us with food or a little donation up to your capabilities.

We aren't too fixed on working times since we are all volunteering and trying to be a project that is open... more inside
