I raise cattle, horses, and sheep on an idyllic farm near the Fergus/Shannon Estuary. I'm looking for helpers for general farm work; exact tasks will depend on helper's experience. Your accommodation will be in an apartment, including your own kitchen. I will provide the ingredients for your meals, but you will be doing your own meal preparations.

County Clare is rich in beauty and interesting archaeological sites, with spectacular coastline and the fascinating landscape of the Burren.

Ballynacally is about 10 miles from the county town of Ennis, a great centre of traditional music, with interesting shops, restaurants, and the performing arts centre Glór. Ballynacally itself has a trad session every week.

Ours is a peaceful natural place where we grow vegetables, fruit, lots of culinary and medicinal herbs. We have a polytunnel and chickens and bees, 2 dogs. There are water gardens here too. At the moment we are trying to develop the garden into something special and would love to get help with all the projects. Can happily be vegatarian during your stay. There is a wood burning stove in the volunteer accomodation so although it is old, it can be warm and cosy in this unpredictable climate. We would be delighted to have a few helping hands around.

We are a family living 3kms from a small village in a very rural location. We have two kids that still live with us aged 10 and 16 and two kids that have left home but visit occasionally. We are gradually establishing an organic garden, and also the land needs constant weeding, cutting, tidying etc. In autumn, we make country wines and need help picking berries. We play traditional music. I have a tefl qualification and I am prepared to negotiate English lessons as part of the deal. Its best to phone if you want a quick reply as I don't check emails every day.

Tory is an island three miles long and about a third of a mile wide. It lies about nine miles or so off the mainland, which makes it Ireland’s most westerly island. Seen from the south, it looks in profile like a bather floating on his back, head to the east and feet bobbing in the west. During the biggest northerly gales, wave spray is carried clear over the island by wild winds.Tory it's stunningly beautiful. There is a lot to do from walking and relaxing to listening to traditional Irish music and relaxing, and maybe learning some Irish Gaelic as this is the first language most islanders speak. There are seals and dolphins and birds to be watched, there is wonderful cliffs to hike and atmosphere You can't find anywhere else.Helpers job will be mostly cleaning rooms and general housekeeping tasks. The accommodation we offer is a lovely old cottage in the village centre and You'll get money to buy Your food.We are pretty easy going and happy people and we'll be happy to host You and enj... more inside

We have a small farm smallholding by the Atlantic ocean. At the moment we have a horse and pony, some goats and a dog actually a rather mad puppy. We have a lot of fowl, hens chickens ducks and we sell eggs . This year we have extended the garden and there is a lot of work yet to be done. We are within cycling distance of three beaches one that has a resident dolphin in the summer and the other two great for surfing.Plenty of Irish music in the town and not just for tourists!!!. For the lover of other music plenty of good stuff in the next town 10 min by car great music there 7 nights a week in the summer. We have plenty of bikes and really great walks and lots of hidden extras. We as a family love to cook and enjoy all sorts and a odd glass of wine.
