**I currently have enough helpers up to Christmas, however if you are looking for somewhere in the new year, please contact me.**

"The Hermitage" is located just 4 kms from the centre of Castlemaine, a gorgeous old town in the heart of the old Victorian goldfields. Castlemaine is just 1-1/2 hours drive from Melbourne, and easily accessible by train.

I'm trying to bring "The Hermitage" back to it's former glory and need helpers. The original sandstone house is one of the oldest buildings in the area, and was built during the gold rush in the 1850's and has plenty of room for family and guests.
I'm looking for tradespeople to help with restoration projects etc, and keen gardeners & weeders to help with the large garden, orchard & vegie beds.
I'm offering accommodation & meals in exchange for their help for 4 hours per day.

We are on a ten acre block with chooks and a dog. We are establishing a fruit and nut orchard and have quite a bit of native bush. We need a hand with the weeding, mowing and looking after the house, which is quite large. You will have your own room with private bathroom. Wifi is available and there is plenty of room for relaxing when you have free time. Lots of lovely local walks and hikes and the beach is quite near if you enjoy fishing and swimming. We are about 2 hours drive from Melbourne and very near to Phillip Island and Wilsons Prom National Park. We are both teachers with extensive English teaching experience, so if you would like to improve your English, come and stay with us!

Hello Helpers!
We (my mum and I) are looking for a couple of people to come and help us paint a few rooms of the house and possibly with some gardening and light house work.
You can have use of our car when available.
You will have a room to sleep in, though this may be switched around a bit as most of the bedrooms need painting, but you will have a private space. Food will be provided and on my days off from work I can take you out and show you some sights.
Length of stay is for max 2-3 weeks, just because there isn't a lot to do, it's just difficult work for us to get done as we are both at work quite a bit.
We live in a small town about 1.5 hours from Melbourne and .5 hour inland from Lorne, and 40 minutes from Geelong. There isn't a lot to do in our town but as said above you are welcome to use our cars when they're available.
Hope to hear from you soon!
