We are a busy family living and working on a dairy farm in Tirau, in the middle of Waikato. We have four children, 2 dogs, a cat and 400 cows....
We have nice separate self contained accommodation (would suit a couple) and we would like help with both the household chores, and some basic farm / outside work. 3-4 hours work in exchange for accommodation and dinner and Wi-Fi.
We love welcoming visitors and learning about your country and experience (so a good standard of English is needed).
We have a pool, and love to waterski, go walking, be active. We are rural, but very well located, within less than an hour's drive to many centres, Tauranga, Hamilton, Rotorua, Cambridge etc. so your own vehicle is definitely required.

230 acre drystock farm with Waikato river frontage. Solar power & mobile phone only-only Spark has good reception here. Mostly hill country with bush, streams & pasture. Grazing dairy replacements, horses & beef cattle. Need help in every area but for this summer I need particularly fence repairs, noxious weed irradication & firewood. Great lifestyle with river, horses (not for beginners), pets and beautiful scenery. I live with my two daughters (fortnightly). We are omnivores. I have a cabin with no power (has gas)& a motorhome (self contained) for helpers to use.

There is no broadband here but you can purchase Spark mobile wifi.

Much to do here in your time off if you enjoy the outdoors. 230acres and 1.5km river frontage. I have a couple of old kyaks which do actually float-one of them is a comfortable tandem canoe. Port Waikato surf beach is approx 20mins away, Auckland city central 50mins, Hamilton city 60mins

A beautiful small lifestyle block on the Kaimai ranges over looking Matamata. 15 minutes drive to town and close to many local hiking trails. 5 minutes drive to Wairere Falls hike. Having a car would be a bonus as we live out of town. Work would include gardening, hedge trimming, weed wacking, weed spraying, and general house hold responsibilities and cooking dinners at times. Hours and days negotiable. Large bedroom with incredible views of the Kaimai ranges. If you want beautiful place to work and incredible views. This is your spot! People who know horticulture and gardening is a huge plus..... stay as long as you would like.... sharing a room with a male possibly.

I'm renovating my old Villa house in a small town and need help with DIY building and decorating, as well as landscaping & gardening. Help with cooking and/or cleaning is also appreciated.

I've recently added a large deck, to take advantage of good barbecue weather, and to enjoy a few cool drinks.

Paeroa is the central hub the Hauraki Rail Trail, as well as on SH2, so is a convenient stop whether you're travelling by bike, van, bus, or thumb.

I'm offering own room in a tolerant house, with either two singles or a double bed, shared bathroom, wifi, cooking facilities, & some meals.

Couples, siblings, friends, and couples with children are also welcome.

Note: There's a cat living in this house - he's very friendly but he wants me to remind you that your health comes first, and if you have a cat allergy he'll understand if you can't stay.
House is non-smoking indoors - outdoors is ok.

HelpX jobs completed:

Finish deck, weed garden, paint hall & bedroom, organise k... more inside

Immediate start. We are looking for someone to predominately look after our children, who are 1 and 4 in exchange for accommodation and food. There will be light house work to do as well. 3-4 hours a day 5 days a week, may involve some weekends.

We live on a small lifestyle block with horses. You will have a completely self contained one bedroom cottage to live in. Happy, relaxed family. Fairly flexible helping hours.

We are looking for one or two strong guys to do some work in the garden asap. We have a large pile of mulch and it needs to be spread in the garden, mostly on a hill, so the work is pretty exhausting, however afterwards you can cool down in our beautiful pool ;)
We are a family of 5. Our boys are 10, 14 and 15.
We have a dog, a cute cat and some chickens.
Generally with helpx we expect 4hrs of work - in return we offer a lovely room (see photo) with your own bathroom in a nice newish house, free wifi as well as all the meals.
We live just outside of Hamilton in the country.

Hi, we are a family of four, living on 3/4 acre with lots of native trees and garden to care for. We are looking for help with developing new landscaping in our property, and to look after our native trees. This means moving big piles of dirt, clearing weeds, moving landscaping material and pavers, and things like that. Pretty hard work! If you think you might be interested in this kind of work, and hanging out with us, please contact us. So we look forward to hearing from you :)

You would have your own room, and we would love to invite you to share meals with us, and to just hang out.

Jules is a surfer, and I (Amanda) am an artist, our children are high school age, and we have two fat cats, and two chickens.

Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you.
