Love the beach? Love the Sun? Love cold beers by the pool? We have all three.

We are looking for fun and sociable people to work for accommodation in our beach-side backpackers resort. The hostel is situated in the casual stress-free coastal town of Emu Park in Central Queensland - 44km east of the City of Rockhampton.

We ask for 3 hours work per day including cleaning, gardening and landscape maintenance, vehicle upkeep and various other jobs around the hostel. We also ask that you help us maintain a fun atmosphere for all guests by helping out in any way you can; even if that means having the odd beer with the guests at the bar :) We ask that you enjoy yourself. You’ll be part of a relaxed and friendly crew of like-minded people and travelers, so make the most of it.

Please contact us if you are interested and require any further information. We look forward to hearing from you.

Vacancy for 2 helpers from 27 January 2017.
G'day travellers - want to live on a working farm in the stunning Scenic Rim, 1.5 hours south of Brisbane, and 1.5 hours inland from the Gold Coast?

We are a boutique family owned enterprise (husband and wife) that are in the start-up phase of regenerating our farm eco-system to create a chemical free, holistic and sustainable enterprise. After having been inspired by a training program completed in early 2015 with Joel Salatin (www.polyfacefarms.com) we are now producing a range of beyond organic products on-farm. These currently include:
-Pastured Eggs
-Pastured Broilers/Meat Chickens
-Pasture fed Beef
-Forestry Products

We run our farm under Holistic Management principles, moving cattle and chickens every few days to fresh pasture. If you are interested to learn why and how we manage our farm the way we do then we will certainly take the time to explain, and there is access to quite a library of reference material.
