We are a family of four that live on Scotland Island located in Pittwater area of Sydney (Northern Beaches). Our children are 15 yrs & 12 yrs old and we have a 2 year old black lab.

Our home is water access only which we do so with our own commuter boat. The island is also serviced by a regular ferry service (Church Point Ferry (http://churchpointferryservice.com/ferry-timeable/, as well as private water taxi for your convenience.

We are looking for an extra pair of hands to help with some general maintenance of our home (giving it a good spring cleaning inside and out)as well as gardening around the property. Ideally we are looking for someone who is relatively fit and who doesn't mind a bit of physical labour. In addition, we would love someone who enjoys cooking!! We have no food allergies or special dietary requirements.

We have a separate studio with king size bed for accommodation so you would have your own space. Wifi available.

Ideally, we are looking for hel... more inside

We live 20 minutes by car inland from Byron Bay on 3 acres backing on to farmland. We are a family of 5 with 4 dogs, 1 cat and lots of ducks and chickens. We can offer a lovely separate one bedroom cottage (with queen bed in bedroom) and pantry stocked with breakfast foods for 3 hours of genuine work per day.
The cottage has a fridge, microwave and hot plates. It has internet access but only via Ethernet cable (not WIFI) (and only for checking emails and searching Internet).
Unfortunately, helpers would not be able to entertain friends at our place.
We are 8km from the nearest village so you will need your own car - there is no local transport.
Our family loves the cultural exchange aspect of HelpX and looks forward to meeting you and learning about your country.
Right now we have work to do outdoors (mainly weeding and garden removal).

We have self-contained accommodation next to our house in town. This is sometimes let out as a BnB so length of stay for helpers works best for shorter stays of 3 days to 2 weeks.

We are currently living in the town of Bellingen and about to start developing our home site on 1 hectare just out of town as a small organic farm. We need help both at our current home (in the garden and in building a studio space) and in our evolving farmlet (everything - it is a greenfield site). We use permaculture and biodynamic principles and sustainable building materials.

We are a family of 4 with 2 young children who are experienced and interested in environmental science and engineering, outdoor adventures, wholefood, fermenting, community building, home schooling/ natural learning, community gardens, felting, dancing, massage and music.

We are looking for people with skills in building, fencing, gardening, horticulture, playing with children, etc. We would be open to children coming al... more inside

Hello
We are looking for a single male, 2 males or a couple to help us around our farm. You will have a lovely room with a very comfortable king bed. We are a friendly active mature couple. Husband looks after the farm and I work away during the week.

A bit about our place. Our property is set on old dairy country between Moruya and Bodalla NSW on the far south coast in the Eurobodalla Shire. We live in a very old cottage which we are renovating. The cottage is very cosey and homely. We are on the Princes Highway and have a coach stop just outside. The bus can take you to Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

Our views are spectacular (mountains, farm land, Coila Lake, Tuross Head inlet and the ocean). We have the best of both worlds - open space and the beach.

We currently breed Alpacas (heard size now 20), have Llamas also, raise bobby calves/weaner calves, grow fruit and vegetables. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 cockatoo (who wanders everywhere) 5 Guinea Fowl, 2 Heifers and 3 hors... more inside
