We are offering accomodation incl. meals on Magnetic Island in the Great Barrier Reef; in return we need support in refurbishing our historic timber sailing ship. We are a couple with grown-up kids (all out of the house), four happy, gentle dogs, a cat and a small tropical garden. The house and boat are strictly non-smoking inside, but a smoko on the verandah or terrace is no problem. And we're just normal healthy eaters, so no fancy diets - just regular good food. Diabetics & gluten-free probably can be accommodated, but so far we have no experience in this.

We are looking for kind and gentle people with previous experience in boat restoration, carpentry, painting, and canvaswork, as our boat is in need of a proper refurbishment. A desire to work on a classic boat and the ability for teamwork is required, as many processes are very different to those on steel or fibreglass vessels. Work would be carried out jointly with one of the owners, as on one hand we'd like to guide you t... more inside

Hi, I have just returned from Italy and Europe and will be back at home from Mid May 2016. Please not that I will not be back at my House before the 9th of May.

I am based in the Wide Bay Burnett region on approximately a 30 acre property. The closest town to me is Gympie. Help is always needed at my home with gardening, weeding, mowing, whipper snipping, and cleaning.

I have some fairly large areas that need a lot of work that will be quite labour intensive. I am looking for people who are able to work well on their own initiative and without too much supervision. I have a very busy business which I run a lot from home which means that you may be left to work alone a lot of the time.
There is a bus to and from town at the front gate. There are lots of lovely places to walk and explore. Town is only 10 mins away by car.

I can arrange to collect you from Gympie on any day of the week. You will have your own room in the house, a comfy bed and a fun experience. I am a non s... more inside

We currently own a small Mechanics business; Geoff, my partner is the hands on Mr fix it and I do the admin side as well as being a full time Mum. We both used to be Tour guides, so have a lot of knowledge of history, fauna and flora of this area.

We are about to move 4000km away to the Kimberley over in WA. We have A LOT to organise and do before then, as it was a bit of a random but amazing opportunity for us. Our house and garden needs some love and attention to get it rented, we are slowly getting through the list of jobs but would be great to have some extra help.

This is a working sheep and cattle farm located in Queensland's Outback region. The farm is owned and managed by the Hobbs family.

The farm involves sheep and cattle work such as mustering (herding on motorbikes), fencing, driving tractors and other stock work.

We have had many travellers stay and work on the farm from a wide range of countries. Whilst the work is new to most travellers it provides an opportunity to learn new skills and to gain a unique experience of a working Outback Station.

As the farm involves learning new skills we recommend travellers to stay a minimum of one month so that they have the opportunity to experience a range of activities most visitor end up staying for 3 to 4 months. We are located in rural Australia.

Our family is friendly and welcomes visitors into our house. We eat some meals with our visitors and encourage them to participate in the local community events and activities.
