Located on the coastal cliffs near the popular surf beach of Gore Bay the property is unique to the area. It has a variety of established fruit and nut trees, which include Walnut and Hazelnut trees, Apricot, Apple, Feijoa, Cherry, Fig, Plum and many more. Opportunities are also available to work on a larger sheep and cattle property. From painting to pruning I need help with a variety of different projects depending on the season. WIFI available. Look forward to hearing from you :) Cheers Andrew

Its not long before we get some four day old calves to look after,we have all the pens ready just a few things to do now .I hope we get some nice people to come and help us for a few hours a day we sure need it.John and I live in a small country village in the foothills of Oxford 45 minutes drive from Christchurch city. After having 4 children of our own we shifted south to be near our 2 grandchildren.
The scenery is spectacular as from our lounge window we have snow-capped mountains and cattle grazing on the lower hills. Our small farm is 8km from Oxford town with all amenities, library, supermarket, gym and pubs.
This is a new business rearing 250 beef calves on fresh colostrum, hay and meal.We aim to sell
calves on contract with the rest being sold to locally at weaning.
It is expected that you will help to feed, weigh, shift calves. Other jobs may include weeding or general farm work. On average we would require you to work 4hrs per day with board and lodgings provided.

We have a small 10acre lifestyleblock just outside of Rangiora. We always need help to keep the property in order - general maintenance, planting, weeding, mowing. We have a large garden that we use to provide produce to our two cafes as well as two tunnel houses. We can provide a separate sleepout and a friendly family environment. We have been doing this for two years and really enjoy meeting people from around the world. We normally ask for 4-5 hours help a day, 6 days a week, in exchange for accommodation, power, internet and 3 meals a day! But we are flexible!

We are a small Quarter Horse Stud breeding and training horses for Competitive Western Riding. We need experienced, accomplished riders capable of starting/training young horses both in the saddle and on the ground. You must be honest about your experience with horses, this is a safety issue. We also require help with gardening, weeding, housework, building, general maintenance and picking up horse poo.We enjoy having young people who enjoy the cultural exchange. You stay in our home so please respect it.NON SMOKERS ONLY do not turn up and say "sorry by the way I SMOKE" Don't put me in a position of having to ask you leave. People have done this.If you chose to go on a weight loss diet while you are here extra requirements over and above your 3 meals per day will be at your cost.I have included these things due to a few unfortunate experiences. We look forward to meeting you.Thank you.Gail & Graeme

No experience necessary, just a can do attitude and willingness try new things and help out where you can.

Hi there. I have 25 acres in North Canterbury, in a SPECTACULAR setting with NW views of the alps, South East - across Christchurch to Banks Peninsular, south are the Canterbury plains and east is the Ashley forest. I have some Belted Galloway cows, sheep, lambs, & 2 cats. There's always things needing doing. No experience with animals or small farming is necessary, just a willingness to work and to experience new things and hopefully learn a few new things, and be prepared to muck in with what needs doing. Jobs are mainly outside weather permitting, and you should be prepared to get your hands dirty (eg planting trees ,weeding etc).Outside jobs include clearing gorse and weedwacking fence lines, gardening, Stacking fire wood, I need to hire a log splitter as I have wood to split too. Weather not permitting outside stuff there would be general housework, cleaning, et... more inside
