We have a 25 Acre property surrounded by national park with beautiful coastal views down the south east coast of the Tasman peninsula, located only 25 mins away from Port Arthur and 1 hour from Hobart. We are seeking 1 or 2 people for a minimum of 2 nights max 5 nights (can be negotiable) stay. The season is upon us. You will have your our own caravan and a kitchen fully stocked of food in exchange for helping us pick strawberrys. We have goats cows and sheep on property plus a very friendly cat. Come have some fun. We need help for 4hours a day usually early in morning but flexible, then you have rest day to explore.hasn't been good start to season so if we are not picking we just weed or general maintenance. If you want a place to get away from the hussle and bussle of city life. This place is for you. Great bush walking, fishing, swimming snorkelling and surfing etc. Situated on beautiful Bruny Island the farm is on 12 hectares, close to a white sandy beach, rated in the top 4 in Tasmania (100m).Bruny has the cleanest sea water and air in the world! Third pic is a whale and calf across the road. We grow about 12 different sorts of berries, mostly strawberries. Assistance would be required on the farm in the way of pruning and planting. The farm has a fully serviced cafe which will re open on Oct 14th. There is the possibility of some paid work for the right person. We look forward to meeting everyone.How would you like to get close to a white wallaby? Only place they are wild in the world! Bruny Island! Seafood in abundance! Helpers urgently required. Hello we are a mum and her three school aged boys. We live in Margate on a 4.5 acre farmlet, a veggie garden and chooks.

Hi we are Wouter and Elyse,

Wouter is a CSA organic vegetable farmer coming from Belgium and Elyse is vet from Tasmania
We have two young children (almost 3 and 1 and half). We are looking for some help around the place and obviously

We have a block of land on which we have started an organic certified market farm, with the focus on vegetables, we're in our second season of selling vegetables at a farmers' market.

Currently we have in production:

1ha (2.5 acres) of mixed veg market garden
2ha (5 acres) of more veg (about 10 veg types)
150mē nursery greenhouse starting up a new venture of summer of microgreens in the nursery house.
0.3 ha(a bit less then 1 acre) of high tunnels (greenhouses)


As we have moved in this place not so long ago, there is still a fair bit of work in setting up.

We are a small family owned, self sufficient farm, 40mins south of Hobart. We have 2 boys, aged 14 and 16.
We have a big interesting house and we think we are friendly, kind and fair hosts!
We grow a big mixture of seasonal cut flowers to sell at Salamanca Market and heritage fruit trees, berries and have large vegetable garden for our own use. We have lots of chickens, 2 pigs, 2 dogs and 2 cats. We have amazing views over the D'entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island. 15min drive to Cygnet, 5min drive to Kettering ferry terminal to Bruny island.
Everyday work is easy and doesn't require prior skills .... we will show you how to do everything. But we live on a hill and you will get fit walking up and down our garden...

Hello, I (Jane) and my husband (Cole) have three sons and three daughters aged between 17 and 30. Currently no-one lives at home with us. We live in the foothills of Mount Wellington, with easy access to bush walking tracks. We live a 10 minute walk to the bus (regular buses available) to and from Hobart City.

We have completed building our house and moved in 4 years ago.We have a downstairs flat, an Air B&B. Life is quite a busy - but a fun environment. We are looking for someone to help out doing jobs such as gardening and basic labour,as well as helping out with basic housework and the B&B, maybe cooking. We would love someone hard working, independent and cheerful.

We are a 270 acre property located on the lower east coast of Tasmania, 40 min from Hobart. We are located next to some of Tassie's premier watersports, bushwalking and mountain-biking regions. We run beef cattle and goats for meat and dairying. We have lots of farm jobs we need help with, including milking the goats, animal husbandry, fencing, general farm maintenance in addition to some gardening and general housekeeping. We expect out helpers to work hard with us, but you are well rewarded for your efforts with great food, Wifi access, use of watersports gear, and other privileges. Accommodation for 2 in the caravan (use of amenities in house), shared meals (mixed diet), non-smokers please. Prefer minimum stays of 2 weeks, but happy to negotiate longer stays.
