I have 24 hectares only 15min from Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast. I'm planning to grow landscaping tropical palms and bromiliads in pots.
The only machine work is a ride on mower and whipper sniper. I'm a single father of 2 children 9 and 7 and I have them Tuesdays and Wednesdays and every second weekend. Inside there is general house duties and cooking is welcomed. The work to be done is potting out, watering, fertilizing and the general running of the house inside and out.
If 3 or 4 people are staying then the work could be easily accomplished an I have other similar work for you off the property to make up the hours if necessary. 2-3 people could easily keep on top of it with plenty of time for adventures. I would also take you to see the sites of the Sunshine Coast. At times there will be a car to use.
If you go the extra mile I will too.

We own a mixed farming/grazing property comprising of approximately 800 sheep and lambs which are worked on motorbikes and horses with dogs. We grow a variety of crops including wheat, sorghum, mungbeans, chickpeas and fodder crops. We have an ever growing array of farm animals to feed. We also have every mainland Australian native animal naturally habitated somewhere on our farm except for the wombat. Our homestead is nestled on 7km of Undulla Creek frontage with plenty of opportunity for fishing, swimming, nature watching and water activities. You will be welcomed into our house to experience life in south western Queensland and will share meals and time with myself, my wife and three children in exchange for farm work. We ask for a minimum stay of 2 weeks unless things aren't working out between us all, and are negotiable on long term stays. Depending on timing of the visit, work could include truck driving(on farm), tractor driving(on farm), fencing, sheep work or farm main... more inside

I'm living in a four bedroom rustic house on acreage in a beautiful serene area and would like help to start a community food garden ( along organic or permaculture principles. We also need help with slashing and building maintenance. There are two houses on the property and accommodation for up to twenty people plus a community buiding with large kitchen, dining, and hall areas. I'm an author who writes about shamanism and spirituality and New Age ideas so I appreciate people with a similar and optimistic outlook for the future of the Earth, but all are welcome. We don't however allow the use of recreational drugs or alcohol on the property. Free rent and food in exchange for 3-4 hours help per day.
