I live with my 2 dogs in a lovely Spanish Finca with fruit tress 2km outside of Coin near Malaga. I work during the week away from home and I am looking for a little help in and around the house and somebody who loves walking my dogs. I am 33 years of age and a very easy going person that loves chatting but also enjoys her quite time.
Best would be if you are an individual or a couple, that looks for some peace and quiet time who loves the country side, walks and the peaceful life that comes with it.
I personally choose the place as it has a breath taking view and a very lovely, cozy warm feeling. In the morning I get my oranges fresh from the trees for some juice and see the sun rise over the valley.

Work at my place 2-3 hrs a day:
Most of it is easy going. Just some daily housework and maybe some little projects in and around the house. For the heavy duty garden work I have somebody to give me a hand.
More important is that my two Labradors are looked after, played with ... more inside

*** WE HAVE NOW FINISHED THE OLIVE HARVEST FOR 2011 - thanks for all the enquiries but we no longer require help until Nov/Dec 2012! ***

Olive Farm in Andalucia. Mid way between Malaga and Granada. Help needed between mid-Nov to mid-Dec, no help needed at any other time of the year.

We harvest on average 3.000kgs a year which we send to our local co-operative. In past years we have managed this ourselves but as old age creeps up we would like help. Our house has 2 spare double bedrooms both with en-suite facilities. All meals will be provided and I am a reasonably good cook (I am prepared to cater for vegetarians but not vegans - sorry, no fussy eaters!)

Your own transport would be an asset but not essential. Although we harvest in the winter months the weather is generally good with daily average in low 20s. It does tend to rain but we only work on dry days!

Were setting up a property in Extremadura, western Spain, to be a free space for working on various open source projects; in the vein of energy and food production, water use, communications, structural building, or anything else which could prove of value to the world. All makeable by the general public using basic tools with sustainable, natural and recycled materials.

Recognising the strong need for accessible workspace in Europe, we aim to build a kind of playground for innovators, inventors, growers, makers, designers, for use without financial obligation.

If you have a project, or want to learn by doing, you are welcome. Though we ask you to observe that:

~ All technologies and practices created will be open source, documented, and made freely available.

~ Although there is no set amount of work required, this is a project space and you'll be getting your hands dirty.

~ Our community is based on respect, and operates on a be nice consensus policy.

We Joaquin and Carme groups in their fifties of our lives. In 2007 we bought this estate of 3.700 acres in Pago La Sierpe in Arcos de la Frontera.

The farm had a large house divided into two apartments, a main house and an apartment annex, smaller than the former owner rented to their acquaintances. Others had a large fallow field, an orchard with 200 orange trees with mine water well that supplied the house and crops, a garden between walls with a pool, a large space at the entrance of the house without landscaping and two patios shaded one internal and one external.

Weeds, snails, insects and a major oversight prevailed everywhere, including the two houses that needed urgent reform. But the place we fell in love and overcoming difficulties and fears we decided tying the blanket to the head and turn the place into a home more enjoyable and get hands-on with our own hands.

We worked as masons, painters, electricians, farmers, gardeners and gradually shaping the place so tha... more inside

I have a large house with a lot of very untamed land, also there are some caravans that need renovating. I am a yoga teacher and my idea is to turn my place into a yoga retreat and holiday centre. I have limited resourses and want to make the centre cheap and available to people like me.
The work that needs to be done first is clearing the land and renovating the caravans.
i would like helpers to work 4 hours a day for food and accomadation. I am willing to be flexible with when the hours are done.
