Are you looking for an immediate host in Adelaide?

We are a family of 4 (mum, dad and 2 kids) who live in the suburbs of Adelaide, close to public transport which heads straight into the city.

We have previously hosted aupairs and helpers from help X and love having an extra person or two in the house and learning about their culture.

We have a large house and you would have your own bedroom which has an attached lounge-room. The room has a Queen bed so we can accommodate a single person or couple.

We are currently needing someone who is prepared to do a few hours of childcare (approx 3) for several days next week from May 15th.

We also have several indoor/outdoor cats, so you must love animals. Free wifi is also available.

We are available to host now and are open to considering different lengths of stay.

Hello,

My name is Ros.
I live with my Husband - Kevin and a few birds. I have developed Bird Fanciers lung so we have air filters running, I often wear a mask and the birds have limited time inside. My rainbow lorikeet Swiz is , however, inside with me most of the time. I don't appear to be allergic to her.

BIRD ALERT : Swiz will jump on you, poo on you and gleefully screech in your ear at times.
This is her way of befriending people. If you have issues with birds on you or the occassional warm wet trickle running down your back - our house may not be for you. We can provide spare tops to wear as "bird shirts". I cannot emphasize enough that this is the birds home. They are not caged, two are completely free flight. They do NOT bite unless quite upset or over excited and it is easy not to do that. None of the other birds bother with other people unless they spend time talking and playing with them.

I suffer from bird fanciers lung. We still have a few birds... more inside

Small farm close to town.At this time needing someone who can drive manual 4WD and trailer either right now or after Easter. We need support in garden and house. We can pick you up and will be pleased to show you around our area and feed you roast lamb and some local wine! We will show you how to do things so don't worry about having farm experience. Overall it is painting, general housework, farm work and garden work. You can offer to wash the dogs. The goats will be keen to see the weeds you bring out to them, and you can collect and eat fresh eggs from the chooks. There is a variety of jobs and we are happy to have short stay.

We are a private home on a large block looking for help with gardening, cooking, cleaning and childminding (two children, 9 and 5yrs). We offer food, accommodation and company in return for help with these things!
We have much loved family pets, our dog's name is Regal and she is very lovely and friendly. We also have a kitten that lives inside until he is grown enough to live outside, his name is Spyro.
We would love to learn about your culture and take you to any events happening in the area. Naracoorte is close to many tourist attractions including Naracoorte caves, Coonawarra Wine Region, Bool Lagoon and the Blue Lake at Mount Gambier (100km). I have also travelled most of Australia and can offer advice and information about which areas to visit :) We look forward to hearing from you!!
