Update: November, 3rd 2016:
I have availability as of the 10th of November until the 25th of November.

Small and charming homestead with big vegetable garden (permaculture) in a spectacular setting on the beautiful island of Mallorca with hiking trails and the Mediterranean sea around the corner. I have a small guest room and can host 1 Person or a couple.
I would need help with the garden and my little artisan business...depending your interest/ skills...
I live out in the country in a typical majorcan finca....so if you want to explore the island you would need to rent a car (which is very cheap). The next bigger town is Inca ( 3km) and the sea is a 30 min drive. If you like hiking this is a perfect place for you as I live next to the beautiful Sierra de la Tramuntana. You can swim in the sea from mid Mai until November- temperatures in the winter are around 20C, during the day..the summers are hot ( especially July/ August).

I am looking for help right now as April ... more inside

Hi!
We are a family of four (with two girls, aged 7 and 1) and live in a big country house in the middle of an orange orchard in a beautiful valley close to the sea. Four years ago we moved from the city to the countryside, just 5 km away from the village where my family has been growing oranges for almost a century. We grow different varieties of oranges and tangerines (harvesting from October to May) and are in the process of converting the orchard into organic agriculture. We are also planning to open a guesthouse or hostel in the hopefully not too far future. There is also a big hall with inspiring views of the mountain range and where we hope that interesting gatherings will soon take place (music, seminars,… any ideas are welcome) and a very big kitchen which is ideal for sharing cooking experiences.
We welcome any help in the orange orchard, as well as in the kitchen garden (where we grow veggies, fruits and herbs), chicken coop, pine forest and also in and around the house... more inside

We live on a rented cliff top finca (a 4300 square meter plot of agricultural land)in Maro. The views are beautiful. It was a wasteland and we have done a lot of clearing and tree planting and settling in over the last two years. There are still many unfinished and some yet not started projects, but we have the basic creature comforts .
My aim is to achieve maximum possible self sufficiency, consuming local/own grown fresh vegetables and fruit.

We live walking distance from Maro village to the east and a lively tourist town with almost all facilities, called Nerja, to the west. There are good bus connections to Granada, the Alpujarras, Malaga and surrounding towns.
It's a lovely 15 minute trek, or a 5 minute climb and scramble down the ravine to our local beach you can see in the picture. There are other beautiful beaches that you can walk to along the coast, and lots of caves to explore. To the north there is an exquisite mountainous natural park to hike in.

I live with my so... more inside

What we am doing: we are having fun setting up an organic smallholding.
Where we are: we are in some beautiful mountains 650m up and about 25 km from the sea in Asturias, northern Spain.

What help do we need: All practical help and skills welcome. However at the top of the list are tasks such as fencing, gardening, repairing paths and dry stone walls. also repairs to buildings and landscaping. (Guidance provided.) .

Power and Communication: we are off the grid, so we are using renewable energy but we have a generator for back up and power tools. There is a good signal on the Spanish mobile phone network: ( Movistar ). so internet could be available on your phone/laptop etc

We are a family living in a beautifull and remote valley 25 km south of Ronda (Málaga).
We are 1'5 km from the nearest village.
We invite you to share our idyllic location for rustic living and help us to develop our organic, permaculture garden.
Our ideal volunteer would enjoy construction projects such as erecting a Hen house and repairing fencing, as well as gardening dairage depending on the season.
The accommodation comprises a double bed room (with enough space for another bed if it is needed)in a building set apart from the main house. volunteers would be welcome to share our long drop compost toilet, shower and kitchen facilities.
In your time off there are opportunities to go walking in the surroinding countryside, visit Ronda, visit a local horse sanctuary, learn about foraging for edible wild food, visiting other farms, meet other volunteers, make music and swim in the river.

Hello!!
We are a spanish couple, 31 years old, who works as organic farmers.
Our project basically is growing up vegetables, providing organic boxes, picking-up olives and gardering tropical trees.
We would like to have one person with us for helping and sharing these jobs.
We can also host a couple because we have only one room for helpers.
We speak english, french, portuguese and a little of greek.
We need help right now for 2-3 weeks more or less from now (mid november) until 5th december. The tasks now are gardening and picking olives. We need hard working people motivated in permaculture, agroecology...
thank you!

If your fit, free and fancy a few days in this beautiful valley in Andalucia we're looking for some short term help ... we are moving ... lots of stuff to be moved out .. there's a few other things too .. like firewood moving, chopping, building a couple of small willow benders .... but it's mainly moving stuff up a mule path by hand and in some cases, donkeys.

You need to be willing to live in basic off grid conditions, be sociable but have self responsibility and initiative ,resourceful and of a happy disposition. It's a stressful and sad time here for us, but the reality has been accepted and now we're trying to move with positive attitudes and thoughts ... our old story on this land is sadly over, making way for the new ...

At this particular time english will be our main language of communication and therefore this is not a good time to come if you want to learn spanish !
