Hi! I'm Alain, together with my family Mel and Steve, , we are increasing the usage of our land for organic gardening, building an outdoor woodfired oven and kitchen to pursue our passion of creating a space people can come to visit or stay for education and rejuvenation.

We have a big vision for our property and are starting with the oven and outdoor kitchen project we need your help with at at Boolambayte NSW -see gatherby.org/corey. we are building an outdoor kitchen on an organic property bordering Myall lakes and national park. Once this is done, we will will run cooking classes and educate children and people about the importance of food and where it comes from, as well as taking groups on walks to collect native bush foods.

We need people who can help out with carpentary-handy person skills for the build, or have permaculture gardening skills. Look at the progress on our site! drop us a line and we can see if there is a fit for us both with Helpex!

We are a small family that have recently moved from Melbourne to country NSW. Michael moved back to manage part of the family farm, that includes cows, sheep, wheat, canola and a wonderful home filled with dogs, ducks and chickens. Eliza recently left lecturing at an arts school to return to her country origin (where she met Michael) and set up an artists residency and develop art therapy retreats. There is also a spritely 7 year old (who is proving to be quite a good little farm hand).
Between us we are renovating 4 old homes and managing the farm. We are eager to offer accommodation and some meals and wifi access (if required) in return for help with developing and managing both the farm and the houses. Terms and times are certainly negotiable.
We have both hosted many travellers in the past.

We are an easy going family with several people living on the property. Have 3 dogs and 4 cats and chickens, so being an animal lover is a must.
