We would ask that you prepared the children for school and kindy each morning got 1 child onto the bus and then got our other child off to kindy which would require you to drive. You would have to collect from kindy also and then from the bus stop again. We offer accommodation and meals and are prepared to offer a small cash payment per week also. Hi we have a dairy farm 20 minutes from Taupo that also has horses. We hunt in winter and show jump in summer. We have an outside room that is brand new with its own bathroom that is attached to the stables and has an amazing view out to Mt Ruapehu. We have three children our son is at boarding school and have identical twin girls still at home. We love snow and water skiing, trail riding, and of course horse riding. We like to entertain and enjoy good food and wine. If you come here we would be flexible with work hours as we think work one day and explore beautiful Taupo the next. Ideally you should have your own transport as this would enable you the freedom as we are out of town but it is not essential. Jobs that are on offer are general farm work, house work, gardening, horse riding (and all that goes with horses). It all depends on time of year and your skills.

We have recently taken over one of the oldest historical sites in the country. We have a big job ahead of us cleaning and generally getting our 150 year old wooden buildings up to where they deserve to be. The sight looked after the Armed Costablary who were chasing Te Kooti after the Waikato Wars. Legend has it that one night he came here dressed as a cowboy to fit in and let the horse coral loose which now are the Kaimanawa horses. We have 12 chalets and 10 studio units a natural therapeutic mineral Spa which was why the site was originally built lots of walks natural hot and cold pools where the hot Thermal water meets the Waikato River on the eastern side of the Huka Falls accomodation and meals are offered to people with green fingers with builders and roofers top 0f the list we have a wide variety of things to do though so don't be shy we are both well traveled and know the terrain. We have a sense of humour and work and play hard fishing, hunting, snow Boarding, boating can... more inside

Farming in the Ruatiti Valley, Central North Island, we have reduced our acreage from 640 to 54 and farm Miniature Scottish Highland cattle. Our farm is 45 minutes from Mt Ruapehu and we enjoy great fishing and hunting at our doorstep. There is no public transport in our district so own transport is preferred. Work needing to be undertaken is in the house and garden, cleaning & weeding etc with farm chores likely to include weed spraying, some pruning of tree's and some chain saw work maybe. No set plan as every day's different, simply would like some assistance around the place. Own room, bathroom etc sharing house with easy to get along with owner. Ruatiti Valley is 26kms from Raetihi and 35kms from Ohakune.

I have a private residence in small rural town.Half an hour from the Whakapapa Ski fields.Lovely little town and heaps to do if you have a love of the outdoors like I do.Tramping, cycling, kayaking, fishing and much more.
I am looking for someone to help me with my house renovations, nothing to difficult mostly prep work sanding, painting and odd jobs etc. My home is 2 bedroomed and is a work in progress so its not the ritz and you will need to be a bit open minded. However all ammenties are here, single room accomodation and it is located right in the township so you are 1 minutes walk to shops train station cafe's and even the river.
