It would be more like an internship than normal helpx-ing and we would be ready for you to start anytime from mid October. We can offer lots of learning about vegetable farming and ask that you are someone who is able to do sometimes hard physical work in sometimes bad weather. See below for details and if interested please send us an email telling us about yourself, we will also want to chat on the phone. Thanks!

We are looking for someone to help out around our busy home in exchange for food and accommodation. We have 2 gorgeous boys aged 3 and 5 yrs, 2 small dogs and 7 sheep. We are renovating our house and working on the garden, so there is always something to do. We both run our own businesses so we may need you to look after the boys at times, or help with work in the garden, or if you have the skills to help with work on the house. You will have your own bedroom but will need to share a bathroom and toilet at least in the short term. We live around 1.5 hours from Melbourne, accessible by public bus, in hilly, green South Gippsland. Experience working with young children is preferable, but if you have the right personality and skills, experience is not essential. Strictly NO SMOKERS. No drugs or excessive alcohol. Free WiFi access so long as download sizes are reasonable. We are happy to do bus/train pick ups. We live around 40 minutes drive from Phillip Island & other beautiful beaches... more inside

We are renovating our house in Melbourne!

We're looking for helpers to help us out at our new place. The work will be gardening, painting, cleaning, landscaping, building, repairing and just generally helping out with whatever needs to be done.

About you: We like helpers who can appreciate a job well done, ask questions when they need help and have a good eye for detail. Whether you've got skills or you're just good at learning and fixing mistakes, we don't mind so long as you enjoy helping out and getting involved when the work needs to be done, and sitting down for a chat and a meal when we're finished.

We're asking for approx 25-30 hours per week in exchange for food and accommodation.

Accommodation: Unfortunately as my mum is coming to stay for a week, we cannot offer you a private bedroom in the house. However, we do have a large loft space out the back that you will be sleeping in for one week. The only access to this space is via ladder and the bathroom is in t... more inside
