We have just moved with our 4 small children, 4 dogs, 2 ponies, chickens etc to the most beautiful corner of English country side. We have bought a wonderful farm with stunning views over the valley, and we are only 20 minutes from the Jurassic coast line of south Dorset and Devon.
The farm had not been farmed for about 8 years so there is a lot to do to tidy it up and restore it. the good thing is that there are amazing wild flowers, beautiful woodland with streams as well as the valley and fields. it is a very inspiring place. We are desperate for some help both on the farm and in the home. Our 4 children are aged from 7-1 and so getting everyone including the animals up and ready in the mornings before school is quite a challenge. you would have your own double bedroom and bathroom, there is a TV, sitting area and desk. there is private entrance to your bedroom, but you would need to share our family kitchen. You would be welcome to join the family fr all meals if you l... more inside

CICD is an international college with students from around 15 countries, situated in north east England.
We are a residential college so students, staff and volunteers all live here on site.
Our courses run all year around and are for people who prepare to go as volunteers to development projects in Africa or India.
CICD is situated in a beautiful rural area, in the middle of 30 acres of park also inhabited by our local wildlife (rabbits, foxes, deer....). We have a big walled garden where we grow organic vegetables and hold chicken, ducks and geese.

You are welcome to join us as a volunteer helper for a period of 3 weeks up to 2 months - or maybe more.
You will then also enjoy the life and team spirit of our community! The daily life here is rich with different cultural activities.
CICD is a busy and active place and you can help with many different tasks in these areas:
- Our park and organic garden farm. Planting, clearing and weeding, harvesting, making new beds, m... more inside

We are a family run small-holding with pigs, sheep, and horses. We make our own sausages and bacon and run a small restaurant serving Sunday lunches and private parties. We also have self-catering cottages.

We're looking for people who would be willing to help us around the farm - feeding the animals and general maintenance - as well as helping in the kitchen, serving meals, and cleaning the cottages.

Accommodation would be in a single or twin room in the main farmhouse living with the family (we have 3 small children so it's a busy house!)

The farm is within walking distance of the pubs and shops in Ilfracombe. Surfing beaches in Woolacombe and Croyde are a 10 min drive away and Exmoor is on our doorstep.

Take a look at our Facebook page for photos.

Hey, my names Ibtisam (means: Smile in Arabic) and I recently moved into a flat near Ladbroke Grove Ė West London. Itís a small one bedroom with two balconies.
I really need help in transforming the flat and make it feel homely. Thereís plenty I need help with but realistically the tasks that I would imagine doing will be painting doors, building cupboards and benches and putting up shelfs. I have some plans on what I want but could do with a more creative mind to help or even to spur mine. I may ask you to even water my tomato plant occasionally.
Main skillset I need is carpentry, painter and decorator even at basic knowledge of knowing how to change door handles would be great!
Iím flexible with the length of stay but preferably two weeks, I would want the helper to have enough time to explore London and if this means staying over the 2 week period I would be open to negotiating
I would expect five hours a day over five days but I recognise this is subject to change but it... more inside

We run a campsite, we have not been here that long so there is lots to do on the overgrown garden to make it nice again and we want to put in more facilities for the campers. We also have people who rent rooms from us long term and people who rent rooms for shorter periods of time online. So its fun here with lots of new people coming and going.
You will stay in a caravan which you may have to share with one other person.
The house is situated in the heart of Robin Hood country in Nottinghamhire, 25 minutes walk from town in the beautiful countryside. We are friendly, laid back folks and would love some help with our dream project.
The photos show: The house, the field we use for camping, the veg patch which produces lots of great veg for us to eat and the outbuildings we need to renovate.

Exchange accommodation for assisting disabled woman in Summertown, Oxford, England.

2016. Six months minimum, following successful trial period of four weeks.

Help for woman with multiple sclerosis living in Oxford. I am looking for people with health/social care training (eg. Physiotherapists, nursing, occupational therapists) who will work for me for up to 20hrs/week which can be arranged to fit in with any other plans you have.

Because the help needed is sometimes of a personal nature, I prefer women to assist me. I am looking for team-minded individuals to live and work with me and in my local community for a minimum of six months.

I am involved in a range of projects. I am very interested in eco-living and generally trying to cut down on using up non-renewable resources. If you have not come across the idea of permaculture before you might be interested to look at the following general introduction:
