Our farm is located in the beautiful Eltham Valley, approx 35km west of Byron Bay. We grow pecan and also add value to our farm by processing our own pecans. Work is focussed on harvesting and processing of our pecans. Accommodation is of a high standard in a modern home with tennis court and swimming pool. Whilst food provided will be excellent quality we regret that we are unable to cater for vegetarians or other special diets. Both our home and farm are no smoking and drug free zones.

We live in Port Macquarie, a beautiful coastal town, within walking distance of several spectacular beaches. The bus stop is only 5 houses down or you can walk to CBD in 40 minutes. My husband, Mark, is retired and I usually work from home part time now as an Acupuncturist, Kinesiologist and Bowen therapist. The business and residence have 2 separate entrances.
Currently myself, my husband, daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter are in residence and the other 2 of our children return regularly during University breaks. We have 2 dogs, a cat, 2 bearded dragons and a pet diamond python and now have a baby crow Mark rescued. Best for helpers who like animals.
We offer a spare bedroom in a very large house with your own kitchenette (jug, toaster, micro-wave & small fridge), shared bathroom, 3 meals per day (breakfast & lunch food provided but mostly self prepared & shared main meal) and wi fi. This is in exchange for gardening, handyman (or woman) work, cleaning, general maintenance. ... more inside

We are particularly keen to have people with: building, carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying, tiling, electrical wiring, sewing, web design, audio & video skills, as we have many projects at our farm and permaculture and organic gardening teaching area. The main project is restoring the rustic original farmhouse built in 1898 which is the helpers accommodation. It is very basic, rustic original farmhouse.
