We are currently looking for a couple with their own sleeping or arrangement (tent or campervan) to stay with us in the last week of June, 2015. We are having a Medieval Banquet and need help setting up tents etc.kitchen work and also waitress/waiter work. You would be required to wear a medieval costume which will be supplied and will also be able to have some fun when your work is done including some free drinks.

My husband Tony and I own and run a Vineyard/Cellar Door on a beautiful property only 6klms from Childers in Queensland. It's our little piece of Paradise! We've lived here for 24 years as the weather is temperate for most of the year. Although Summer can be quite humid and very hot at times. We have had frequent backpackers stay with us over the years and are used to different cultures. Childers can offer loads of farm work for those wanting to stay for a while. We only have 5 acres of grapes to look after but we also have a small Cellar Door with tourists vi... more inside

Plantation with 16,000 trees growing Achachas, recently introduced from Bolivia, and some other fruits such as mangoes, soursops, etc. We are 45km south of Townsville on the Bruce Highway.

We are seeking a couple with building & carpentry skills. We plan to add a simple 4mx5m timber extension - covered deck with insect screen walls - to our basic 3 bedroom high-set fibro cottage. Our current WWOOFers will finish their 88 days mid May, which is when we would like to start the extension. Accommodation is in a comfortable large 4 bed room house which we use as a guest house, but normally guests come and go only occasionally. We are in a nice location - but car would be required for shopping. We provide free accommodation of course, and food allowances. We have plenty of other tasks if one in the couple is a builder, the other is interested in general farm activities.

We live on an acre in a quiet rural Australian setting on the Southern Downs 20 minutes drive from the nearest city Toowoomba (1.5 hours from Brisbane). Our family includes Jared and Rhiannon (both 24 yrs) and a new addition to the family will be due in June 2015. We have two large dogs and 2 miniature goats, so love of animals is a must.

Jared works in Toowoomba at the local university so we will be able to pick up and drop off in Toowoomba. We both love travel, learning languages and meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds. We would welcome you to be a part of the family and would be happy for you to join in on our family activities and share our culture and for you to share yours.

We live in an old Queenslander and require assistance with exterior house painting (and prep) and possibly some gardening, maybe even some fencing, for up to four hours a day, five days a week (which can be flexible if you wish to work more one day and have the next off et... more inside

My one hectare property with a stone cottage and a very large entertainment shed / carport is a little piece of paradise hidden in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
I am returning to the property at the end of April to give back some TLC. Tenants have been living in the cottage for a few years and its time to go home for awhile.
I am rebuilding the carport which is attached to the shed and Im needing some hands on labour in exchange for food and accommodation.
Gardens need to be tended to and general maintenance such as clearing gutters etc. I do have a great mowing man as well.
There are two cats who are A grade vermin hunters. There is a chook pen and will be organising chooks when I return. The shed is great for classes, workshops etc.
We are 20 minutes drive to the beaches and 5 minutes to train station. If anyone is interested in spending time in this lush greeen area of the sunny coast hinterland - please let me know.

hi, im a 25yo self employed guy living on a 60 acre hobbie farm with my mother and disabled father. our block is only a 10 minute drive from the historic town of charters towers(130kms inland from townsville) and only 20 minutes from beautiful natural swimming holes and national parks. at home we have plenty of space with 10 cows, plenty of chooks and ducks and kangaroos and 3 crazy dogs. basically what we're looking for in a possible helper is just a bit of help for my mother with the gardening and housework and a bit of a motivator for my father with his rehab. im also a carpenter and am doing extensive renovations on the house so help with that would be great, even if its just using a paint brush. for anyone interested you will have your own room and will be well fed with home cooking, and ill gladly show you the local sights as ive travelled myself and had the joy of being shown things that arent always on the travel brochure.
