I've got a bed and breakfast in the beautifull South West countryside of France, near Toulouse. I would be glad to have a sympathic helper who would like to discover our region.
I speak French, English, Dutch and Spannish. I have a cat, a dog, a horse, chickens.
I want to have some help for my activity (between May and September) and now, I need help to make some works in my old farm.
Help consists of: carpentry, building, painting, cut and fasten wood, gardening, etc. a plethora of activities mostly outdoors.
Minimum stay is 1 week. In exchange for the work I offer you a room and meals.

I live in a quiet neighbourhood but bigger city, Albi (50.000 inhabitants) is 10 minutes away by car.

I expect you to work 5 hours everyday and you get the weekends off to explore the country.

I look forward to hearing from you :)

Hello Helpxers,
My experience as an helpxers has been very rewarding for me and It is with much joy and anticipation that I offer to return the favor. For a while my itchy feet will have to stay planted, thus I am trying to bring the exotic to me. I am fluent in both French and English, and I am learning German. As this will be my first experience hosting someone, it would be best if you have some basis of one of these three languages.
I live with my mom, in a little house, 7km away from Moissac, known for its well-preserved Saint-Pierre Abbey, and 75km from Toulouse, also known as the pink city, “La Ville Rose”, due to its architecture made of pinkish bricks. Beyond a few hills west live my grand-parents, life-long farmers. They speak as much English as would a goat, but words count for little when it comes to communication. My grand-mother’s cooking is the best, do not even consider arguing about that matter; it is a hard fact, not an “alternative fact”! And further down the v... more inside

Anyone out there heading for South West France in Spring and Summer? We are an English family living on a beautiful 30 acre domain of woodland, pasture and wild flower meadows about half an hour South of Carcassonne and just 5 minutes from the bustling medieval market town of Mirepoix.

We are looking for two friends or a couple to come and help us get the place ready for our 2017 summer season. We'd need you to arrive at the end of March and stay until early or mid-May. The work is really varied and most of it is outside. There's the pool to clean and summer kitchen and terrace to organise and everything will need a bit of attention after the winter months. There will be a bit of painting to do, jet washing terraces, some gardening work, grass cutting and weeding, erecting the tipi, opening up the swimming pool etc. It would obviously be a good match if you are fairly practical.

We are also looking for some very special girls (2 friends or a couple) who fancy spending a minimu... more inside

Help with gardening work. A modern countryside villa with large landscaped garden desperately needing attention.

We are a mature English couple unable to work as hard as we used to and require helpers who are mature-minded IDEALLY couples/partners or two friends. Enthusiasm and energy are more important than gardening experience, but you must be physically fit, strong and competent with tools, both manual and petrol driven. We would like helpers with a willingness to clear and tidy neglected areas as well as weeding, planting, strimming and hedge trimming. Collecting leaves, rubbish and trimmings and taking them to the local waste disposal site. We have an old van for this purpose, so a driving licence would be useful. We also have a lively dog, who will become your best friend once she has overcome her initial wariness.

In return for 4-5 hours work a day we will provide you with comfortable private accommodation (2 bedrooms, shower room, living room/kitchen, heating) and t... more inside

Chateau Dumas is owned and managed by Lizzie Hulme and supported by a team of 7 people, most of whom are employed for the season only.

We are looking for 3 people to help at Chateau Dumas in exchange for board and lodging from 6th May 2017 onwards for 4 to 6 weeks.  The helpers will be expected to work around 4-5 hours a day for 5 days a week with 2 full days off.  You will have your own comfortable bedroom in the Chateau but you may be asked to share a bathroom with one other person.

Hello. This is an 18th century farmhouse nestled on the edge of a small hilltop village with views across to the Pyrenees mountains. Recent family commitments have made it difficult to keep up with all the work here myself so I could use a little help. I'm looking for 1 or 2 people during the warmer months to help with gardening, maintenance, diy jobs etc. Most of it is fairly light work but there may be some heavier tasks - wood splitting, bramble clearing .....

I am offering a nice self contained apartment with wifi, on a self catering basis with a 3 hour working day. This would suit people who like to have plenty of time to explore the local area and cuisine or those with special dietary requirements who prefer to prepare their own food.

This is a calm, healing house and so welcomes non smokers who would enjoy that ambiance. It's a nice place to chill, with a sunny courtyard patio, sunbeds, bbq and a large area of open land behind the barn. The village is home to one of t... more inside
