Our 12.9 hectare property is 10km's from Renwick, and 4 km's from State Highway 6. It consists of exotic/native trees and shrubs; pasture; orchard; chicken runs; and vegetable plots. We started 9 years' ago planting predominantly heritage fruit and vegetables organically for sale at the local Farmers' Market. Over the years we have added animals to the property and today we have 3 steers, 3 goats, 2 pigs, 3 calves, 32 hens, 2 roosters, 3 lambs and 4 chicks.

From September until May we need assistance with spraying, compost making, weeding, mulching, sowing, planting, propagation, brush-cutting, animals, building tunnel houses, and picking produce for the local Farmers' Market.

Accommodation is a tidy caravan placed in our orchard a short distance from our house. Food will be supplied for breakfast, lunch and dinner with vegetables/fruit available from our gardens. Some meals will be shared with us. Your working day starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 1 p.m. with morning tea ... more inside

URGENT: We are looking for a nice German (guy, girl or couple) for our little resort ASAP for 3 or more weeks. The position includes house holding, and looking after our 3 grandchildren. We like you to home-school our boys (ages 6-10), helping them completing their homework during their motherís absence. You should bring solid English skills for communicating with our grandchildren.

Our resort is situated in Wilson Bay / Pelorus Sound. Surrounded from native bush and absolute waterfront.
You work around 4 - 5 hours a day in exchange for accommodation and good meals.

There is heaps to do here:
swimming, walking, boating, fishing, seeing glowworms and a magnificent night sky, reading and relaxing.

Accessible ONLY by water transport.

We live in the Awatere Valley in Marlborough. The property primarily farms sheep - but we have a vast array of pets. There is a lot of NZ farm life to see here!

We provide a single bedroom in the house and can provide food.

We have work using a splitter getting firewood ready for winter.

We want someone fun, has good logic, loves kids and wants to enjoy our great lifestyle. If this sounds like it could be you, we would love to hear from you and feel free to ask questions. We are flexible.

Look forward to hearing from you.

We are Nigel and Sue-semi-retired and have been living here for 9 years. This has been our holiday house for over 20 years. Our house is in a secluded bay with water access only into Picton, our nearest town, just 15mins away. Native wood pigeons, tuis and bellbirds are just some of the wonderful birds living in the native bush which surrounds us. We encourage the health and vigour of our native trees by removing gorse and wilding pines. We have our own jetty and beach where it is safe to swim and kayak in the calm inland waterways(similar to fiords)- we are frequently visited by dolphins. Double Cove is a fishing reserve but it is possible to fish beyond the edge of the bay only 100 metres away. We enjoy bushwalking with our 9 year old labrador, Fraser and have a vege garden. We would very much like to have some help with track clearing, gardening, wood collecting and general outside and inside work. We like helpers at all times of year weather permitting, but not between Dec and F... more inside

I have a three bedroom house, close to all amenities
Would like either a couple or single girl(s) to help with gardening in exchange for accommodation, use of internet and all facilities in the house.
I find it very difficult to do all the gardening myself as it is a big property but very peaceful.
