Mainly gardening work with some digging involved.
Sometimes some mowing & occasional painting. I am situated right behind a beach so great for a swim after work. It is a 20 min drive to the nearest large town but there is a small shopping centre here where you can get most things. If you have no transport I can pick you up at Termeil where the bus stops, it is only 5 mins from my place. I supply wifi & meals for 3-4 hrs work but you need to provide your own alcohol if needed.
I have 1 old cat in case you are allergic to them.

LOOKING FOR A DANISH VISITOR/S DURING FEBRUARY / MARCH WHO CAN HELP TEACH US TO SPEAK DANISH!

Not available April - July (our own travel adventure!)

We are a family with 3 energetic boys living in Narrabri. We enjoy hosting visitors to give the boys some understanding of different cultures, and the help is great in our busy lives!

We live on a 4,500 acre research farm just outside of Narrabri. It has an amazing garden - there's always something to do in the garden while you enjoy beautiful views and sometimes even see kangaroos and emus in the house paddock!

We have a spare room with an ensuite for visitors

Guy and Ingrid both work in agricultural research in Narrabri. We also run a cherry orchard in Mudgee (3 hrs away) which keeps us very busy in the season! (Late November-December)

Both are beautiful areas to enjoy the landscapes (Mt Kaputar National Park, Sawn Rocks, the telescope, Namoi river with our kayaks, cycling; wineries around Mudgee), the wildli... more inside

Ours is a family operated mixed farming enterprise. Wheat, Canola, Lucerne, Sheep and Cattle. You are invited to join in with general farmhand tasks, looking after pets and poddy lambs or calves, planting trees, chipping weeds, painting, gardening and working with the hosts. Guests are treated as part of the family. The focus is not on work or cheap labour but the cultural exchange and farm/country experience. Your room has its own adjoining bathroom, also internet/WiFi/mobile phone available. Grenfell is our nearest town, population 2000, situated in central west NSW about 4 hours west of Sydney. You can catch the Train/Bus, maybe visiting the Blue Mountains on the way. Alternately, you can catch the train from either Melbourne or Sydney to Harden and we are happy to pick you up. Guests can also explore our nearby Weddin Mountains National Park or Japanese gardens in Cowra. Canberra is only 2 hrs away and guests often do trips to visit the national capital. NOTE: Vacancies from April 2018 onwards.

Currently working on the vegetable garden and propagating trees and other plants - if you want to learn now is the time.

Hi, I run an alpaca stud specialising in suri alpacas. I also run Wiltipoll sheep as a source of meat. I am attempting to be fully self sufficient and the accommodation is all off grid (but very high tech). There is also satellite TV for the evenings. However, you still need to be aware of not leaving electrical appliances and lights running unnecessarily as well as 5 minute showers. I have only been living here since August 2014 and am still building the garden to the standard I want as well as fencing off various areas.
I have internet access but like all rural areas am limited to 25GB a month which I need mostly for work. Mobile phone coverage is not reliable but there is a land line for emergencies. You are best off with Telstra as there seems to be better coverage by them.

If you are looking for a party sce... more inside

Weeding, digging and House cleaning will be the main jobs.

Hello HelpXers!!

We are a middle aged couple who live on a 6 acre property in Billinudgel.

Our home is located 5 minutes walk from Billinudgel town. We have views to our own little valley and are woken up by native birds. We are a 5 minute drive to Ocean Shores and South Golden beaches and shopping centre, 10 minutes to Brunswick Heads, 15 minutes drive to Mullumbimby and 20 minutes drive to Byron Bay. On the northern side we are 30 minutes to Murwillumbah, 25 minutes to Kingscliff and a bit closer to Cabarita - take your pick! You will definitely need to have a car to explore the local area as there is no regular bus service.

A couple is preferred however we will consider a single person. The main jobs in the garden include: weeding, pruning, mulching, slashing and planting seedlings. If you have gardening and/or landscaping skills great, but if you don't you just need to be willing to learn and work the required daily hours. Other tasks include painting the outside of... more inside
