I don't want to sing my own ecological praises and drop buzzwords like 'project' - it's just me, but both place and lifestyle are exceptional: primitive, low impact, very alive.
Since I live off grid without road at 1h walking distance into mountains and forest, a considerable energy goes into carrying, food to begin with; volunteers could enable me to haul materials, too. Then, at home, apart from keeping the house organized, which is also time-consuming the primitive way it is done (i.e. hand-washing), I want to rebuild parts of the house that are in ruin now, and that low budget with available materials. Moreover, cutting firewood is always an option. I like to hack with old technology and always appreciate donations of old gadgets, laptops, solar-related gear, electronics tools..
Generally I do live very low budget and could only rarely afford to provide for food, actually even it would be great if you could contribute some food here and there. If i am to provide food, one wou... more inside

Hola, We are Ginny and Terry. We urgently need help in June with our small holiday letting business due to our helper not showing.

We live in a cortijo, in a beautiful secluded valley with our three very friendly dogs plus any others that we happen to be fostering at the time, currently we had 8 dogs. We have a swimming pool, gazibo, Hot Tub, BBQ and shady dining and sitting areas as well as lots of sunny spots (all a little alternative!).

Whilst secluded we are only 1km from the picturesque, whitewashed Moorish village of Valor (15 mins walk along a good track) with shops, great bars and restaurants, bank, doctors etc.

Accommodation is in our comfortable and spacious yurt or our vintage VW Westfalia camper van which is close to our house. We cook, eat and socialise together and there is always food available if you fancy a snack between times. We cater for both meat eaters and vegetarians but sorry not vegans.

We don't require any experience, simply enthusiasm and a smi... more inside

We are a little community of four persons, Víctor, Blanca, Albert and Marta living in a bioself made house in the middle of the forest, in the catalan Pyrenees.

We try to be self-sufficient with our summer garden and the food that we can't grow at home we buy it in a local cooperative market.
We do workcarving and we pick up and try to grow medicinal plants, made aircrafts and play some sports like climb ropes, btt, snowboard (in winter), swimming in the lakes...
The work at home is milk the goats (in the summer), take care of the animals, the garden in the summer, do firewood and help in the houseworks, clean the forest, made fences with the wood of the trees, clean of rocks ... more inside

Hi,
After 4 amazing years with one of the most party hostel in Costa del Sol, Andalusia, I moved in Granada to arrange something quieter.
I rented a building, in a central street in Granada, 250m far from the Cathedral. There're bewtween 12-14 apartments of 30sqm where the helper has to do housekeeping in the morning or helping with checkins in the afternoons according the schedule.
Just few hours weekly in change of discover one of the most visited city in Spain with his Alhambra and mix of culture and vibe

As a change from the rat race why not come & experience the good life with us. We always have lots of odd jobs to be done and lots of out door jobs, weeding, pruning, strimming, digging etc. Now is an important time to get on with the vegetable garden.Or painting the house, inside and out!
We live in an old stone spanish farmhouse, set in a perfect but remote location to relax & read or walk. Views to the sea and mountains. Helpers have a separate, spacious area with own bathroom/kitchen & terrace.
We have a solar power set-up and our own water supply & swimming pool!.
We have the usual mad spanish dogs on guard and a few chickens so eggs can be provided.
We have a vegetable garden that needs attention, replanning to turn into raised wicking beds. New trees planted.

Normally we ask for 5 hours work each, 5 1/2 days a week, in return for ingredients for breakfast. lunch and dinner are catered for, including a couple of beers!
But we can be flexible.
We are now a wifi zone!

We are a country family with two children. We live in Llanos de Somerón, a small village of 25 people in the Cantabrian mountains, North of Spain. Llanos is close to Las Ubiñas-La Mesa Nature Park, Biosphere Reserve, where bears or wolves are our neighbours too.

Our home is an unfinished building that we would like to make into a mountain hostel. Nowadays, we have started the construction and we are working slowly but with a lot of energy and excitement! For this reason, we need the help of construction workers or people with knowledge of building work.

We also own an organic farm where we enjoy growing a famous local pea and other vegetables destinated to our self supply. We spend a lot of time in this farm during summer so if you like gardening and learning about this task instead of construction if would be perfect too!.

We offer you good food (some organic products/hand made), a chance to learn spanish language and culture, local cuisine, peasants living experience an... more inside

We are an English couple who moved to Spain 2 years ago with our two Cockapoo’s Missy and Merlin. We own a rental villa for holiday lettings and enjoy receiving guests and ensuring they have a great holiday. We love the outdoor life, visiting the local villages, socialising with friends and walking our dogs. We also have 2 cats Rafa and Hugo. We live between 2 Spanish villages Almogia and Villanueva de la conception in the mountains. There is a little hamlet close by called Pastelero which has two restaurants, you can walk there in half an hour. Malaga and the coast are a 45 minute drive away.
We have a self contained one bedroom Casita where we are offering accommodation and food in exchange for 5 hours a day (6 days a week) help with gardening, mainly weeding, strimming, cutting back plants and planting out. There may be other odd jobs we need doing around the rental but the help we require is mainly gardening as we have two big gardens to maintain.
