We are a small farm that deals mainly with show dogs. We have Siberian huskies and Finnish Lapphund along with a spoilt toy poodle or two.

We show regularly and breed about twice a year. We are now getting older and both are requiring some medical treatment this year which will put us out of action for about 12 weeks.

Outside work is available locally with stone fruit picking from August to November. The closest of these is over the road.

Help would be needed mainly for mowing, yard work, with some small maintenance work on and in the house.

Accommodation will be either in the house with a shared bathroom, or in a caravan. This is your choice.

We are a cattle / farming facility and we are looking for travelers with a background working with and around horses, particularly stable work. There will also be gardening and general cleaning at this stage.

We are located 90km from any large metro area and this would be a remote stay. If they have their own transport would be preferred. There is a 3 bedroom fully contained house provided and food if required, depending on the agreed arrangements.

This will not be entirely supervised work, some level of independent work is required.

Ultimately Barry and I are wanting two friends or a couple to come and help, or if you are a retired couple travelling around Australia you are most welcome. We have plenty of room and I'm sure if you get bored of drinking tea and resting I could find you a job or two.
