Our place is a rustic farm in Ardèche, at 900 m high, in the wild. This place can be very joyful for you by its silence, calm and beauty of its landscape. We breed sheep on its slopes. We have also 2 donkeys, 6 horses, 3 flock guiding dogs, and many cats…
We use alternative methods of grow and care, to respect as much as possible the biodiversity.
Thoughtful Agriculture.

We are a couple based in this region for 10 years. We wish to meet new people, discuss about the world, share adventures and memories of one and others. We speak French, English and Arabic.

We wish to have Helpers that can stay for minimum one week who could help us on every day duties of the farm depending of the season:
with the animals (flock guiding, cares, food, dung, agnelage …)or in the field ( bush cutting, gating, ecobuage, hay-making…), in the organic garden and may be at home (jam, preserve, cleaning…)
The hours of work will depend of the needs and climatic conditions.

Welcome to our big old family house.

Since few years, me and my cousine, french young workers respectively in health and ecological building ; have tried to "restore" it in summer time, with some help. It is located one hour from Toulouse, near a little village with a shop / restaurant / tobacco / bar. The house is surrounded by fields, with no neighbors except cows sometimes, and gives an unobstructed view over the Pyrénées.

This summer, i would like to host a week long, from Thursday, August 13th to Wednesday 19th, more or less one day according to you. You can arrive directly by car, or I can pick you up at a train station "Boussens".

During this week with you, I would like to restore one room (coating, painting, wall paper hanging), and doing some other works in a barn and around the house. More or less. It will depend of the number of helpers you will be.
I plan to work around 6 hours a day and be free the rest of the time.

The house counts around 5 bedrooms wi... more inside

All help would be appreciated, from gardening to clearing out debris in old house, restoring doors, windows etc, new ceilings, plumbing, electrics, plastering, masonry, anything really!! Great location, on edge of village with bar, shops, restaurant etc. Large park in grounds, leading on to countryside. Close to cycle path. You can use our bikes. We love to cook & entertain. We are a small, family-run equestrian centre set in rural France.

Each summer we run an eco-friendly, organic-based summer camp for horse-mad children.

Volunteers need to have experience with horses as work includes assisting in riding lessons, tacking up and other horse-based activities.

Immerse yourself in a horse-filled, multi-cultural, bilingual French/ English experience!

We have around 30 horses, 20 of which we use for camp. We also have 2 dogs, lots of chickens and doves, 2 peacocks, 2 ducks, 1 goose, 5 pigs and a cat.

The camp activities include English style riding in the arena, Cross country, Gymkhanas, Trail rides, Vaulting (gymnastics on horses), Carriage driving, Dance, Scouts, Horse Theory, Archery and Blindfolded Woodland Trails.

Last year we ran a very successful summer camp with the help of 3 lovely volunteers! We cater for up to 30 children at camp. The children are 90% English speaking - and 10% French aged between 5-15. As a family we speak a mi... more inside

Hi

**4-5 days in Sept/Oct** PAINTING/DECORATING/CLEANING/GARDENING - Yummy food provided and Good Company!

We are Sarah and Stuart, originally from UK but are now loving living in the South of France. We have a 4 year old son, a cat, Loki and a dog, Mojo.
We have a large 18th Century 5 bedroom/5 bathroom house in a quiet village inbetween Foix and St Girons in the National Park in the Ariege - Midi-Pyrenees. We run a gite and chambres d'hotes business and are looking for some help in September or October to re-paint some of the rooms and give the place a good deep clean. There may also be some work in the garden - cutting back fruit trees, collecting the fruit etc. If we have guests, some help with breakfast and change-overs would be appreciated. We live in an appartment attached to the house, so you will have the main house to yourself, unless we have B&B guests. We would ideally like 2 people to help us - a couple would be ideal but we can accommodate more. Some experience w... more inside

Our organic truck farming belongs to a sustainable development framework, respecting our environment and favoring its biodiversity, as well as environment friendly materials and renewable energies.
It offers the visitor an ecological, natural and peaceful space, based on exchange, sharing and conviviality.
Situated in the Tarn, Midi Pyrenees, France, 50 km away from Toulouse, on the Montauban / Gaillac axis, we are in the heart of a touristic region, home to many beautiful medieval villages like Puycelci, Castelnau de Montmiral, Larroque, Cordes, Penne, Milhars, Bruniquel, Saint Antonin Noble Val and others, not far from Albi, classed since 2010 as World Heritage by the UNESCO.

Sports and other activities are possible nearby; canoeing, speleology in the Aveyron gorges, backpacking, fishing, unusual visits such as the Martels Gardens, the Gardens of Paradise at Cordes sur Ciel, Paris Vaissac miniature, the miniature train in Gaillac, hiking in the Sidobre and many other discov... more inside
