With my wife Faustine and 3 kids Virgile (12 years), Clotaire (8 years) and Celeste (5 years), we live in a small town at the edge of the Cevennes National Park.
We operate about 400 hives organic. We live in the middle of bees and it is necessary not to be allergic to stings.
Many activities are possible because we live 5 minutes from the center of Ales (40 000 inhabitants), 1 km from the station, and 500 m of the Cevennes National Park.
So you can help us manage hives, provide help for the construction of the honey, maintain the garden ...
A car, motorcycle or bicycles are available.

Hi all adventurers
My name is Monika. I will be happy to offer you a bed and give you a place at my table. I'm Polish living in France. I'm a an art historian and medieval costume designer. If you want to learn how to dye fabrics with plants this is a good place to be.
I live with my six year old son at the heart of the regional Parc de Causse between Limoges and Toulouse, near the river Cele and right next to the medieval pilgrims' path to Santiago de Compostella.
At the moment I'm searching for somebody, who is good with a sewing machine to help me with medieval costumes for reenactment events. I'm also searching for somebody with web skills to help me with my medieval website. I know absolutely nothing about it but I would be happy to learn. There are also a lot of outdoor tasks to do like gardening and reparing the roof. If you know how to build a hen house that would be a big help too.
I provide meals and accommodation in return for 20hrs of work per week.
Wi-fi, your... more inside

We are four people living in this beautiful and wilde place surrounded by small hills and forests. Basing our activity and way of life on permcultural principles, we are renovating the buildings (two houses) and are planning to build a small strawbale house during this summer (2015). As regards to gardening, we are transforming our surrounding into an "edible forest", with fruit trees, perennial vegetables and medicinal plants. For the moment we can only offer our visitors to sleep in our camp ground, with solar showers and outhouse. Working hours are from 9 to 12 a.m and 3 to 5 p.m, helpers also share the commons tasks (dishes, cleaning and cooking). We provide good and organic food, and are willing to share friendly moments : humor and music are welcome !

We are already full in august!

We are a beekeeper family (Serge, Nadia and Mélanie). We have 400 beehives and transform our honey as nougat, gingerbread, candy honey ... we also have two holiday cottages.
We propose to volunteers to come and share our passion for bees and our family life.
Jobs are plentiful, and are quite varied. This can range from the restoration of hives (without bees in), harvesting honey or clean up the holiday cottages, welcoming customers to the store, clean the holiday cottage, be in charge of the Melanie's children (Marius 18 months and Emilio 4) ... depending on the season. We spetialy need some help in summer time.
We are looking for motivated and serious volunteers, curious to discover our region and our specialties. It more favorable not be afraid of bees, but no competence in bee is required: Serge will explain everything!

Looking forward to meet new people!

My house is facing the mountain of Bugarach.

I don't have much time to take care of my little land and wish to start a garden. I am thinking to put up a fence to prevent from the animals around if I start a garden. My diet is mostly vegetarian.
