We are hoping to grab a helpx hand from early March for a week or so if keen?

We are in the process of beginning our move from the worm farm we have been leasing for the last 3 years to our new pad (we have bought a lovely 12 acres down the road). We hope to be in by the end of Feb. We have LOTS to do and are hoping that some HELPX out there may be interested in helping out at some point during this busy time ahead.

Jobs we would love help with would include:
- gardening at our present farm including weeding/ mowing in preparation for the owners return
- help in keeping the worm farm running so watering worm bays and helping Matt with feeding and bagging up worm castings
- possibly some actual moving so lifting etc
- some cleaning but I promise this will not be the only job you get :)
- help building the duck / chook enclosures at the new place
- possibly help fencing the new paddocks for sheep and pigs (although this will depend on how the money is stretching)
- some ... more inside

We live in the beautiful mountain area of Killarney, with National Park surrounding our home and the Condamine River winding around our boundary. We have travelled and lived overseas, and have settled back to our hometown.

Australian native wildlife - including the most amazing birds - are part of our daily lives. Bushwalking, swimming and fishing are all at the doorstep.

We have a small herd of beef cattle and some friendly horses.

We need help with farm work, also with various property maintenance duties including some weed control.

May also include cleaning and gardening at the homestead.

Accommodation is in a new self-contained flat adjacent to homestead.

Stays of two to three weeks preferred. Cattle or horse experience would be preferred but not essential. Drivers licence would be preferred but not essential.

We live in the valley below Mt TAMBORINE that provides easy access to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast as well as the Scenic Rim. We have a large garden with over a hundred fruit trees, bush tucker, ornamentals, rainforest and native plants. There is a deep natural swimming area on the creek that borders the property. We can provide a fully self contained flat and the use of a small car whilst here. The main evening meal will be provided. We need help with erecting a new railed fence around the alpaca yard, clearing and planting the creek bank with rainforest plants, mulching and organically fertilizing the fruit trees and installing drip irrigation to the vegies patch. Free Wi Fi available. We require a good mornings work with the rest of the time free. We can not accept anyone til March 2015.

We're not farming commercially at all anymore.
Just keeping organic set-up for self-sufficiency.
Some small crops, dried fruits, herbal teas etc. still being sold sometimes...
Property (orchards, yards, many gardens, small vineyard) need ongoing maintenance and up-keep,and especially now transformation and re-landscaping.
We've lived through 3 years of medical trauma and slow recovery, plus 2 years of dire drought around here - and there are tons of backlogged work, like cutting, pruning, weeding and mowing and cleaning up, mulching (mountains of fresh mulch waiting!), restoring many neglected areas, re-planting, repairing, and repainting and renovating buildings, like our rainbow house, side-buildings, guest house and the big windmill, and soo much more !!

VERY much inspired and inspiring help needed .....
Long-term stay possible, even welcomed for suitable person(s).

My property is a lovely 2 and half acres in Buderim. I live on a creek and have quite a large yard. I do have quite a lot of vegies and fruit trees. I garden using biological methods. My main requirements are pulling out weeds. I am very centrally located in Buderim, close to the university and on a regular bus route. The beaches of the Sunshine Coast are really spectacular!!

Hello!! We are new to helpx and have heard great things about the experience from friends. We have a small Hobby farm, with horses, cows, pigs, Chickens and dogs. We are looking for someone to help out with some farm duites as well as help me care for our children during the day. Our boys are aged 1 and 3 and love running outside and playing with trucks and tractors. We spend a lot of time outside and socialising with family and friends. We welcome you to spend time with us and enjoy the experience of living in Tropical north Queensland. Thanks

This is one of the newest & most popular tourist attractions in The Whitsundays. A working plantation of both coffee and sugarcane with a bustling Coffee Shop, Farmers Markets & frequent Plantation Tours. An ideal location opposite the road to Airlie Beach on the Bruce Highway, just north of Proserpine. There is always plenty to do from helping maintain the gardens to waitressing in the coffee shop or general farm-work. We provide breakfast & lunch in exchange for light work. You will need your own campervan or tent for onsite camping in a lovely rural setting.
