We are a cattle / farming facility and we are looking for travelers with a background working with and around horses, particularly stable work. There will also be gardening and general cleaning at this stage.

We are located 90km from any large metro area and this would be a remote stay. If they have their own transport would be preferred. There is a 3 bedroom fully contained house provided and food if required, depending on the agreed arrangements.

This will not be entirely supervised work, some level of independent work is required.

Hello to you,
I hope this gives a fairly general description of us and our cattle property if not please feel free to email and ask any questions you would like. I am unable to load photos onto this website, I do not know why but message me and I will email you some photos.
Ultimately Barry and I are wanting two friends or a couple to come and help, or if you are a retired couple travelling around Australia you are most welcome. We have plenty of room and I'm sure if you get bored of drinking tea and resting I could find you a job or two.
You might be asked to help with feeding animals, you might be asked to come on a water run (to pump water for the cattle),or on a lick run (to feed the cattle supplement), You might be asked to look after Blaike occasionally whilst I get outside and do jobs like gardening and mowing, you might have to hang out the occasional load of washing. You will not be doing heavy work, you will not be required to lift anything heavy, well, apart from my... more inside

Hi,we are a family of 8 (3 children live with us full time and the other 3 children live with us every 2nd week) One of our 16 year old boys lives with Cerebral Palsy. So therefore you will be required to do some personal care for him. He is a fun loving, happy, cheeky boy.(I would discuss and train you with everything you need to know and do until you are very comfortable with him.) The other children are a great help with him also)I know this may seem very daunting but please feel free to ask questions and come and meet us if you like before accepting this exchange. You will be required to help out with household chores like homework and dinner preparation and some cleaning. Although the children are quiet independent we like to have someone there at night and helping to get them off to school in the mornings around eight if we're unable to be there to do so. Then the day is yours until around 2pm. You won't be required everyday. We are a fun and flexible family. Together we can wo... more inside

I invite friends to help maintain and develop my retreat style property to a more efficient and productive nook whilst enjoying the nature of a micro style hobby farm.

I'd like some help with garden renovation, maintenance and care.
Tasks may include mowing, weeding, brush cutting, pruning, hedge cutting, bush clearing and chainsawing, maintaining irrigation, propagation and planting.

I have dogs and cats and horses that would love to have some of your attention. Also care is required for my quail covey and small chookpen.

Landscaping and handyman skills are very welcome. Building maintenance is often required as my humble dwellings are log cabins under continuous repair in this environment.

If you like solace, some tasks may be continued whilst I'm at work (irregular hours) and some I like to share.

I would welcome you to spend a couple of hours a day and otherwise enjoy the luscious surroundings.

I can provide accommodation in my onsite caravan and sometimes h... more inside

I am a single mum with 3 small children (6,4 and 2) and we have a unique country accommodation business which is not at all close to public transport.
I would appreciate help with gardening, weed clearing, some cooking, accommodation cleaning, yard work and some maintenance if you are skilled in any way - this is not a requirement.
Work varies a lot day to day (especially with the kids) and also depends on whether there are guests in the cottages.

We live on 40 beautiful acres that really needs some TLC and so I would appreciate your help - couples are welcome.

All meals will be supplied (mind you cooking together can be half the fun!)
In return for 4-5 hours a day you will get a comfy bed, bathroom facilities, access to wifi internet, and to be a part of our little family.
