We are a young couple managing a 640 dairy cow farm in the center of the north island, we milk twice a day. we have chickens, two cats and a dog. We spent the best part of 2011 exploring europe and were hosted by some amazing people and now want to return the hospitality.
we have a room with a double bed.
while not necessary, it would be best if you have your own vehicle as we are not close to any shops and it can get boring if the weather is bad!
we are looking for a couple to help us from july to october on the farm and in the house. Experience is preferred but not essential. We are after 60 hours week, with 2 days off every 10. 20 hours will go towards food and board and every hour worked after will be paid at $15.75.
Give me a message with your experience and ill get back to you.
Thanks!

We are a middle aged couple whose children have all grown up and we no longer have our little helpers around. We have an egg producing farm with 4000 free range hens and 5000 caged hens. We have a few sheep and beef cattle that graze the grass to fatten up for the freezer. We employ 3 part time staff. We have a shop on the farm and are open 7 days a week.

Dog walker & general helper.. I am an elderly widower. I have a few show dogs and also breed occasionally.I have a small lifestyle block about 12 km out of town in an area surrounded by dairy farms. The work would involve helping with the dogs and a little housework - cooking too, if you like to.Probably about 3 or 4 hours a day. The position is for a female only and she will be given full board and accommodation in a large bed /sitting room with en-suite. She will be treated as one of the family, given help with learning and improving English if wanted. She will be taken with us when we go out and given an opportunity to travel.
Our preference is for someone from overseas who is willing to stay for 3 or more weeks Previous experience with animals is not required.

A scenic property located by the Wairere Falls and Kaimai Ranges. We are on 10 acres with a stream boundary that we've been planting in native trees, and graze dairy cattle and horses, one miniature, really cute!
We're an easy-going couple in a mainly vegetarian,(i do bbq for visitors) non-smoking household who enjoy hosting visitors from other countries and would like a help exchange of up to 3 days.
Haymaking this week. Help to pick up and stack hay Urgently needed. It's an annual job. We love the result and it's winter food for cattle and horses!
Well, all the native planting is done but we must weed grass from around them, the vegetable garden needs work.
Swim in the stream when works done!
Looking forward to meeting you!

We want to meet you. We are a German-kiwi Christian couple with a toddler and a newborn living the sweet life of once a day dairy farmers in Waihi/Waikato. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and heaps off cows in all sort of stages in their life.

We are surrounded by almost 200ha bush and Forrest which is ideal for hiking, exploring (old mining tunnels and batteries in our "backyard" too) and 4wd and motor biking. We live away from the township, where it
Is nice and quiet. Not far away you will find the hauraki trail ride (ideal for bicycle and walking), karangahake gorge and gold mining town Waihi. Coromandel is only 1.5h away from us (by car).

We do love our meat (home killed mostly) but if you cook we are happy to try something new, hey we are happy not having to cook in the first place.

What we are looking for: first you have to be non smoker - no negotiating with this one.

It's easier for you to have your own transport as we do live in the middle of nowhe... more inside
