Hi, we are an easy going young family. My name is Jamie, I'm a stay at home mum, acupuncturist, and my partner Nick is an osteopath. We have a 5 year old son named Reid and a 1 year old boy called Shannon. We live on Old Wharf Rd in Motueka, a 20 minute walk to town. A short stroll to the beach, the recreation centre, movie theatre, inlet walkway, skatepark, community garden, Toad Hall, Mot Bike Co, Abel Tasman kayaking company, just to name a few!

We would love to learn about where you're from and what you've been up to so far in your travels. We would like to share our home with you in exchange for 3 hours help a day with the three C's: Cleaning, Cooking, Children! And some Gardening!

Our preference is to host people who have experience with children and like to have fun with children! We ask that you don't smoke on the property (or smell like smoke if you smoke off the property).

We are keen "Settlers of Catan" board game players and always looking for extra players, we... more inside

We live in a beautifully renovated farm homestead in the stunning Motueka River valley.

We are converting an old sheep and tobacco farm back into native forest and need help with many various tasks, from scrub clearing and planting trees to landscaping and helping with the animals closer to the homestead. 4-5 hours a day in exchange for food and accommodation. We are flexible with hours depending on effort!

The homestead has a modern kitchen and warm bedrooms with a private lounge for guests. Wifi and Netflix available but we would encourage you to get out and explore this wonderful part of the world.

We currently have chickens and sheep, and soon to be adding goats, pigs and a puppy to the list!

Your hosts, Jeremy and Josie, both 30, would love to host people from anywhere in the world keen to lend a hand. We have a large home and look forward to filling it with friendly faces.

We are non-commercial. We have over 30 years experience growing organic fruit and veggies for our family. Most of the property is a hillside covered in regenerating native bush.
We have a house and some B&B rooms which you get to stay in if we don't have bookings. Jobs include helping in the organic gardens and orchards, making compost, doing some landscaping, clearing round native trees, picking blueberries. 4 hours a day help. You'll eat with us and we appreciate some help with cooking and dishes. Making salads is always good. The Motueka river is across the road for swimming and we have a 65m home made waterslide for a bit of fun. We are 30min from town so it's better if you have your own transport.
We are close to the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks. Some hlepers choose to do two longer days work and then take a day to go to one of the parks.

Ally, Luke and Pickle the dog need some help gardening on our small central Nelson property. We've kicked off changing an old garden bed to make it organic and need some help moving some soil and bits of concrete from the old garden bed. You'll need to be fairly fit and strong, but its not a massive task.

We are looking for 1-2 people to help us during November, for 4 hours a day per person. We eat a mainly vegetarian diet and can provide food. We have a good sized bedroom available with queen bed. It is a 5 minute walk to central Nelson with cafes/bars/supermarket etc. You can walk/bike to the river to go swimming (tho probably the sea is warmer at this time of year!). We also have bicycles available for use if you want to explore a little further afield and can give tips on good spots to visit around Nelson. Non smokers only please.

Lovely sunny home in the beautiful village of Mapua, halfway between Nelson and Motueka. Lots of great things to see and do in the area, including the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi national parks.
We are a busy family of 4 with two young boys and we could do with some help!
You'll have your own room with ensuite, with food provided in exchange for around 4 hours work a day on a variety of different projects. We are in the middle of some renovation work, as well as trying to tame a lovely established garden, and look after the two boys so help with any of those aspects would be much appreciated. We're very flexible about most aspects, so get in touch and we'll see what we can work out.
