We are nestled in a beautiful valley, in the rolling hills of South Gippsland, nurturing our land, animals and family in our little paradise. We love having Helpers for the stories shared, for the fun we have here and sight-seeing, and for the helpful hands to get a variety of tasks done. On our 3 acres we have alpacas, very tame sheep, chickens & ducks, a large orchard and vegie garden. We love eating fresh, local produce, and we sell our excess and also delicious home-baked sourdough bread to a local food co-op close by. Our children are 7 & 5 and get such a wonderful education meeting people from all over the world. Koalas frequent our place, along with a variety of other birds & wildlife. Accom for 2 in a separate building with bathroom & kitchen. Shared meals, mixed diet. Children b.a. No smoking. Initial stay 7 days, then neg.

Apart from help around the farm we can do with help in the household at times too. The type of tasks you can help with, depend on your interests, ab... more inside

Carpentry for outdoor tent salvation and sliding door hanging in Parkville

Plumbing for hot tub spa setup in Tooradin

Mechanical to save still-running '96 Nissan Navara to pass roadworthy certificate.

"Parkzilla" Large Central Parkville Rooming House in need of help for projects or just help with light cleaning, trash, et al.

I can give you a contribution for groceries if you'd like to cook for more than one.

For short stays there is no routine full time labor, rather chores might include weeding or mowing the lawn or washing the windows or even taking the bus to kmart to get weed killer if I've forgotten it or being here to welcome paying guests (e.g. through airbnb).

For longer stays I often need a house manager or an assistant house manager. This requires a strong mix of "seeing what needs to be done" skill and flexibility with your time (but sometimes can pay a little or more long term!) so please send me a CV if you can or contact me so we can exchange some m... more inside

Our preference is for workers with driver's licence and/or car. Couples are ideal as our accommodation is self-contained and private.

This is a picturesque sheep farm situated half-way between Benalla and Wangaratta, in Victoria's North East. We are 10 minutes from Glenrowan township, 20 minutes from the vineyards of the King Valley and about 1 hour 20 minutes from the ski slopes. We are a family of six (four kids under twelve), seeking someone with farmhand, house cleaning, gardening, carpentry, building or painting skills. We love to have couples stay with us.

We have a very comfortable, 3-bedroom, fully-furnished
cottage for our worker/s. My husband and I have both lived and worked overseas and travelled extensively. We would make our working visitors welcome, show them the area and do our best to make their time with us fun and interesting.

We have a large holiday home and need help with the garden and some maintenance. It has got a bit out of hand. It is in the Mountains in a beautiful area. We are 1.5 hours from the ski fields and in summer we have swimming in the river. We are 99km from Melbourne. There is a bus service close by.
We would love to share it with you. If you could give us 4 hours help per day for full board. I think you would enjoy it. We have had help before and it has been very successful. We are not rigid with the working and have found in the past that a few days working then time for exploring or doing what you want seems to work.
It Is summer at present - good for swimming in the river. Trout fishing is famous in the beautiful river and surrounds.
We look forward to hearing from you.
January or February would be very good for us.

Where are all the Helpers?
I am desperately in need of HELP in my garden as it is getting to much for me to do on my own. So if you are you fit, strong and have lots of energy to work outside, my place could be ideal!
Ultimately my place is best suited for a solo male traveller for maximum time of one week.If you have experience using a ride on mower and whippersnipper that would be welcome.
We have a LARGE garden on a steep block that needs some attention, including weeding, mulching, and pruning. I would like to emphasize that it is HARD WORK! Also if possible, I would also like some small general home maintenance jobs done, so would help if you are a painter or carpenter.
We are situated in the Upper Kiewa Valley in North East Victoria with magnificent views of Mt. Bogong. There is plenty of sight seeing and tourist destinations near by,including the Alpine National Park. I also operate a bed and breakfast accommodation with Airbnb.
I'm sure you will have fun here and en... more inside

Dear helpers, I recently returned from Japan where i worked as a wwoofer for 2 months. It was the best experience of my life. I really loved the concept and the Japanese culture. I would like to try this concept in Melbourne. My young son and I live in Melbourne and travel to Lorne (Great Ocean road) on a regular basis to relax and enjoy nature, widelife and the beaches. Our Melbourne and Lorne houses are Homestay base and requires regular attention such as gardening, cleaning and maintenance work. The Lorne house is rare since it was constructed using the similar materials as the Lorne Pier. It's all wooden interior and pitched roof gives it a real cottage feel. We don't require our helpers to have any special skills since there's always sometime to do to upkeep the 2 places. We cook only vegetarian meals and use organic ingredients when available. We love for some helpers to join us to do 4-6 hours of work daily in exchange for meals and accommodation. We take 2 days off per week ... more inside

We live in a nice spot in Northern Victoria, not far from the Goulburn River which offers great fishing. This region's rivers are renowned for catching the great Murray Cod.

We are only 10 minutes from the township of Kyabram which has the famous Fauna Park where you can cuddle a Koala or get up close to Kangaroos and other native wildlife. The larger regional centre of Shepparton is only 20 minutes from our property.

Our property consists of 129 hectares of grazing and cropping country with calves, beef cattle and riding horses. If you are remotely interested in horses, coming to our property may give you the opportunity to learn from a great wealth of horsemanship knowledge.

Family is important to us and we welcome meeting and sharing customs and experiences with new people and learning something of them. We have three adult sons, all married and all living not far from us. We have five grandchildren who we see quite regularly.

Life on our property is never dull an... more inside

I have a wonderful property within walking distance to train 10 minutes in the Yarra valley. I currently have two bedrooms available. I am a professional woman in my late 50s and two adult children 26 & 29 who call in and lots of nieces and nephews in their twenties. I require help with some painting and household maintenance gutters cleaned, lawns mowed. My home borders the Yarra valley wine growing area which offers seasonal work. I also have a house on the Mornington Peninsula walking distance to the beach that also require general house hold maintenance. I would take people to the beach for the weekend. Initially I am offering a week stay with the
option of extending. Helpers must be able to speak English. It is a non smoking house. I eat wholesome food so any dietary restrictions you would need to cater for yourself and take care of your own washing. I am looking for enthusiastic travellers. Must have own travel insurance and working holiday visa. Hours needed approximatel... more inside
