Proud owners of native Tasmanian food business and Tasmanian Pepperberry growers.

We stay at Dodges Ferry, 20mins from the airport and right on the beach.
Corinne is from Scotland and Chris is a homegrow Tassie boy.

We aim to have fun and go on some epic adventures during and between work. There may be some days camping out in the wilderness in some beautiful wild parts of Tasmania. This is best suited for outdoorsy nature lovers.

We grow Mountain pepperberry, forage and wild harvest European fruits such as quince, lemons and blackberries. Here we need help in land maintanance and harvesting. No skills required, just being comfortable out in the bush.

We make various high quality artisan food products. We need help preparing, cooking, labelling and selling at markets.

We also need help with website design, especially SEO.

With so much to do we also need help with daily life, gardening and renovating house.

You will have your own little private outhouse.

I could really use some help around my property.

I rehabilitate injured and orphaned wild birds. I have a large aviaries that I need assistance with and large gardens.

I would also like some help to do household chores, painting and generally help me get this place in order.

There is a self contained flat that is bright and sunny, warm and cozy. I would prefer a couple who are travelling together, or possibly 1 or 2 guys that are content to share a space together. There are separate beds available.

I am located in West Hobart, close to town, bus, everything really!

I enjoy playing music, guitar, it's a beautiful property,it is my home AND I can cook!

I am visited regularly by wild birds and many other native critters!Wildlife has a priority here.

If you are fit, happy and healthy, easy going and understand some aspects of gardening, carpentry and other various chores I could be happy to hear from you.

We are currently travelling so are not available to host for the next 6-12 months

We live in the beautiful and historic town of Deloraine in a large 100 year old rustic house which we are in the process of renovating. There is an acre of field/garden which we are also converting to gardens and getting fences/sheds ready for chickens and sheep. We are a same-sex couple and have a delightful 2 year old toddler (Bastian) who keeps us on our toes. Andrew is a vet and is doing a Masters in Trade and Diplomacy, Steven is an artist (currently full-time dad). We have both travelled fairly extensively prior to settling in Tasmania. Our travel is a bit restricted at the moment due to our family situation :) so we hope to subdue our travel cravings through sharing in others' experiences.

We would like to offer homestay with meals in exchange for some help as an au pair, help indoors on the house renovations or outdoors (depending on weather) in the garden. We would love to give Bas... more inside

Beautiful cedar log cabin near nature reserve, within 1 hour walk of Hobart CBD. We have 600 square meters of wallaby/possum fenced fruit & vegetable garden, productive happy free range chickens & ducks, and a thriving beehive.

We are a small family, 2 adults, 2 adolescent boys, one cat and an excitable 2 year old puppy. We keep a strict gluten free house, as one of our children has a severe gluten allergy, but endeavor to provide delicious, varied satisfying meals. We can also cater very well for vegetarians.

Though close to the city, our property is quiet and peaceful. We are visited by many native animals: wallabies, potaroos, possums, bandicoots, kookaburras and many other native birds. Wattle birds are frequent visitors, and wrens and robins flit about in the garden.

We would like people who have gardening skills, building skills, who like being around children and animals, and do who not smoke or take recreational drugs. The work we need help with is primarily gardeni... more inside

Looking for skilled/handy helpers from 20 Jan 2017

We (James - renewable energy engineer, Clare - jeweller and botanist, Neave (two year old, sleeper in training) and Mitzi (canine) - professional steak eater and wallaby chaser), bought 10 acres in Lenah Valley three years ago - which is 5km from the CBD of Hobart. Though it's very close to all amenities, it feels like our country house - completely away from the world! There's a donkey next door (Frank - who entertains us with his crazy noises), and wildlife galore!! You can have close encounters with pademelons, wallabies, possums, lots of small birds and native-hens!!!

Our aim in the near-term is to get the unit up to scratch (this is helpers accommodation - but we also hope to use it for AirBnb when it's smick), followed by projects outside where we plan to build an orchard, greenhouse and wicking garden beds. We have a sustainable lifestyle in mind, and most of our projects involve recycling timbers, using our beautiful n... more inside
