We are a family of three, mum dad and 16 year old daughter. We are in the process of turning our land into an organic vegetable smallholding with cafe. We are also renovating the property into two homes with gite.
We have chickens, goats, pigs and three mad dogs who will lick you to death.
We are non smokers but don't mind if people do. We love music and are a lively family, we like to have fun so a good sense of humour and people who are not too serious would suit us.It would be really good if we found someone who is strong and not afraid of hard work i.e digging , moving stones etc. Thanks
We want people who can help with the land preparing it for growing stuff and developing the organic project so people with that sort of experience would be great. Also building so any skills in relation to renovating buildings would also be good.Mark is a great cook so you would have tasty meals. We live in a beautiful area in Northern France good for walking, cycling, canoeing, fishing and ... more inside

We are a Cider and Calvados organic farm which also produces a variety of crops along with milk. There are interesting outdoor jobs over the coming months which include working with animals, painting fences, clearing and forestry work, and the restoration of a farm building into an artists gallery. We particulary need help with stonewalling and door making if anyone has experience in that.

There is wifi access and helpers will usually have a large bedroom that may be shared with one other person possibly some of the time. We are asking for 6 hours work a day monday to friday for your accommodation and food, (with a bottle of cider with your dinner each night if you fancy it). We can collect you and drop you off at the train station, (Caen/Bayeux/Audrieu). Languages spoken here include French, English and German.

Please contact us to let us know what you would like to get out of the experience and see our website to check out our farm.

We look forward to hearing from... more inside

Granite-built farm house in Normandy with beautiful views. 300 years old with a lot of original features. Converted with central heating, 4 bedrooms, two with en suites. We have sheep, three cats, a dog and chickens (for eggs). Nearest neighbours cows. My husband is a part-time university lecturer in project and risk management and travels all over the world with his job. He teaches mainly MSC students from all over the world and we both enjoy the company of young people. In return for board and food we would love to have help with the garden, especially the vegetable garden that has been a little neglected of late. We also have small building projects that we would like some help with, e.g., pointing walls, etc.

Normandy is a beautiful part of the world and the weather can be very mixed - very hot in summer usually and very wet in the winter. That is why it's so green and excellent farming land.

Although we are quite remote we have access to broadband, so we're not re... more inside

South Normandy. Le Perche. We are NOT a farm but an ancient charming countryside Guest House (XVIIth c.) close to the forest, nestled in the stunning area of Le Perche. We are surrounded by unspoilt nature: hills, picturesque undulating and forested landscape in the heart of the Natural Park of Le Perche. We are a couple living in this "sustainable tourism" guest house. Our 15 ha are a private valley covered by woods, meadows with our horses, gardens and terrace and a swimming pool in summer. The garden is organic and gives the veggies for the guests dinners.
We need a person to help in the kitchen in the evening for the month of July and August.
We also need help for gardening works, painting and usual maintenance (outdoor and indoor), upkeeping of paths and terrace. 25 to 30 hours per week. Coffee break. Hardworking but friendly and smiling atmosphere. Result oriented and consistent with clients used to high standards.
We are friendly, easy going people. We offer very comforta... more inside

A 200 year old former mill set in 5 acres of land given over to garden, orchard, meadow and duck pond.

We are 2 hours from Paris, 30 minutes to the coast. Village (range of small shops) 3 minutes away, and town (cinema, thatre, bowling alley, swimming pool etc) at 20 minutes. All distances by car - we are not on a bus route so own transport necessary!

We have dogs, ducks, chickens (no kids!). Trying to create organic veggie garden, repair fencing and get the banks of the trout stream cleared of undergrowth and saplings.
