Small lifestyle block with fantastic views 10 minutes drive from Tauranga city. I am looking for some general help around the property mainly with weed control, stacking firewood, tidying up the place a bit.

The weeds are honeysuckle and blackberry and the best technique is to pull them by hand. Blackberry do have thorns but with good gloves (supplied by me) and good technique (supplied by you) you can avoid most of the prickles. The work is not hard but would best suit someone stronger and physically fit.

We also have a couple of trees that have fallen over that I will need to cut up with the chainsaw and it will need to be stacked as firewood.

Our property is in the countryside so a car would be required.

We are looking for a baker to help out four hours a day for the month of February 2018.

We are a three generational family [3 adults, 2 children] living close the to Tauranga CBD and who work long hours in our sourdough bread business. This includes going to farmers markets on the weekend.

We offer accommodation and meals in exchange for 4 hours daily work including handywork, basic household chores such as cleaning, painting, gardening and making the occasional meal. We provide wholesome, mainly organic foods and delicious slow fermented sourdough breads. We are unable to offer transport or be super friendly hosts as we are always pretty tired at the end of the day.

Located in the middle of upmarket suburbia this original old farm house is surprisingly still secluded. My home is surrounded by trees and two classic old farm sheds including a 1918 board & batten shearers shed where I operate my dog grooming business. With a large property & old house there is often maintenance to do, both in the garden & on the house. You would work 4hrs a day per nights stay. The guest room is included in the photos. I live with one very sociable designer doodle. There is a bus stop near my gate and shops just 10 minutes walk away. I can pick you up from central by arrangement & depending on my time available.

I am currently not in need of any more assistance. I will update my profile when this changes.

Current work to do includes:
- Gardening:
- Cleaning: Windows & some other general cleaning.
Having travelled extensively in the past, I look forward to meeting travelers & making them feel at home.

We are always looking for people to work at our Horse Trekking facility so if you love working with horses please email me. If you come help us, you'll have lots of fun with your 4 legged friends!

If you have a passion for horses and have ridden most of your life we'd love you to come and stay with us. We normally have 2 - 3 people working here at a time so they are able to work together and during the holidays when we are a bit busier we have up to 4 - 5. We like people to stay for at least FOUR WEEKS so they can get to know the horses and trails but would allow 3 weeks if you are pushed for time. Please email me if you are interested. :) Thanks, Lucy.

We are a lamb and beef producing farm surrounded by four lakes, Lake Okareka, Lake Tarawera, Blue and Green lakes, just 15 minutes from Rotorua, a large tourist centre with plenty of activities and places to see.

I live with my 11 year old daughter in Omokoroa which is a beautiful peninsula in the Tauranga harbour 20 minutes north of Tauranga city. I am a 25 minute drive from Mt Maunganui and Waihi beaches and an hour from Rotorua and the Coromandel Peninsula.

I need a hand with odd jobs, inside and outside, and definitely some help with technology ie mobile phones, transferring video to switch drive, printer problem etc. I also have some home maintenance jobs coming up and need someone to cut hedges, clean exterior of my brick home etc.

I traveled for six years when I was younger and would like to pay forward the hospitality I found overseas. I have had quite a few helpxers and love meeting travellers. We are a laid-back family in lots of respects but would like people who are tidy and motivated.

I am also open to someone looking for paid accommodation during the avocado/kiwifruit seasons. The area we live in is close to lot of packhouses and orchards.

Thanks

Jodie and Viarni
