**May 2018 update!** We have started work renovating a 100 year old house in the next town from us. (there's a photo below) We will be painting, installing a new kitchen and bathroom, laying floorboards and tiles and getting the garden looking beautiful. It's a wonderful little property, we are very excited about it, and would love it if anyone with some skills in the above were able to help. Otherwise we always have plenty of projects and jobs to do at home. At the moment we are pruning fruit trees, preserving apples and preparing the garden for the coming winter. The weather is still beautiful, our favourite time of year. We hope to hear from you!

We are nestled in a beautiful valley, in the rolling hills of South Gippsland, nurturing our land, animals and family in our little paradise. We love having Helpers for the stories shared, for the fun we have here and sight-seeing, and for the helpful hands to get a variety of tasks done. On our 3 acres we have alpacas, very ... more inside

Well established (20 years) B&B only 9 klms from Daylesford, a popular tourist destination in the mineral spa country. Mandala is a mud brick and eco-friendly timber buildings with extensive gardens in tranquil setting.

The dwelling set up for Helpx guest is currently Home Theater with double glazed glass and reverse cycle air conditioner/heating, shown in first photo.

We are flexible when it comes to work hours and time off etc. Ideally we would like 4 hours per day for 5 days in exchange for board and food. Most of the work would be gardening related, but when that is slow we have preparation (housework) for new guests in the B&B.

We are 10 minutes from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs by car. We are in the country so not a lot of public transport near farm. We do have a truck that might be able to be used to go to town, as long as you have a recognized licence in AU.

Terrace house in inner Melbourne requires homestay for one week preferred w/c 14 May.

Well maintained and small house requires 'spring' cleaning. Wash down walls, clean under furniture, dust plantation shutters etc. Kept generally clean, just needs a deep clean... House has 6 rooms (none of them big). One very small laundry-ish room 2 x 2 requires a coat of paint.

Room (double bed) and breakfast/dinner will be provided for a full week. Work would take a couple of hours per day for two people.

Ask that you provide a copy of your ID (just on account of having access to the house).

House within 15 minute tram ride of city. Once female occupant & two dogs. Must like dogs, they are small but lively.

It is time for asking for help and sharing again.
We are on a small farm working on self sustainability and providing small farm produce like eggs, chickens and plants for sale. We are just over an hour from Melbourne. We are looking for someone with some handyman skills to help with some minor maintenance at our place, painting, wood cutting, planting, weeding in exchange for a local stay experience, food and accommodation.
The standard of 4 hours a day applies but flexible with days and chance to get paid, especially if you have carpentry skills.
We eat mostly vegetarian, so looking for someone who is interested in vegetarian cooking and could share cooking skills.
This is our 7th year hosting and some wonderful friendships have been made and we now have "extended family" overseas that we visit.
You can contact for further info and discuss it further. Anybody with trade skills like carpentry would be awesome!
It can also be where you need a weekend escape into the count... more inside

We are an easy going couple with a large home that we share with our two small dogs. Rod runs an event management business from the property. We are looking for helpers to assist with general gardening duties, wood splitting, and other home maintenance chores. We have all the right equipment to complete the tasks.
We ask for 3 x 8 hour days in exchange for a seven-night stay including food and accommodation (private room and bathroom). On the other days you can enjoy our beautiful property with swimming pool and spa, travel around to see some great places nearby, or you can work extra for payment.
If you have special dietary needs I will provide ingredients and you can prepare your own. Our home is clean and comfortable.

We are a small acreage about 100km northeast of Melbourne, with orchard, olive grove, chickens, sheep, large vegie gardens, two spoilt dogs and a cat.
Would love some help with weeding in the vegie gardens and ornamental gardens, preparing beds for planting and generally keeping the farm and gardens tidy and mulched. I would like more time to put out biodynamic preparations too.We have a hot house where we propagate seedlings to sell and plant in the vegie garden.
Barbara is a great cook and we run a catering business from home. We run a wood fired pizza cafe, which operates from home four nights per week. This is a VERY busy household! There may be some help needed in the kitchen, or front of house but we have paid staff for this, most of the time. For those with the skills, there may be some home maintenance jobs.
We often go down to Melbourne and you are welcome to tag along and visit the Victoria Market, or stay home and explore the beauty of our mountain ranges and rivers. I... more inside

Our farm is situated in the Yarra Valley one of the most popular tourist destinations in Victoria. Surrounded by natural bushland, its the perfect place to stay whilst being close to all the sights and places the area is famous for. Wineries, hiking, the arts & the Healesville Santuary are just some of the attractions you will find here.

This place was built by Justus Jorgensen, founder of Montsalvat, one of Australias oldest arts colony. The farm, barn, and house is where most of the work exchange will take place- helping to restore and recreate this historical gallery space, and helping to maintain the grounds. Duties can include, gardening, general maintenance, helping prepare food, general cleaning and would be great if you are a practical/handy person. In exchange for four hours work per day per person we can offer accommodation in a beautiful caravan (pictures included) and shared bathroom/kitchen facilities plus basic food needs. E.g. eggs, bread, milk, veggies.
