Hi! We require help around the block. We have recently been smashed by a wild storm . We need help fencing, chainsawing and lots and lots of other stuff depending on your skills. I work from home have two boys living with me half time. We are off the grid with power and water etc but have a normal functioning house. Spare rooms in the house . We have wifi but it's limited, but I'm on the list for an upgraded satellite nbn connection. 45 mins from Adelaide, 35 from the beach. Pretty laid back. Come on, give us a try.

We live in a beautiful town called Willunga, 45km south of the Adelaide CBD, nestled at the foothills, next to the McLaren Vale vineyards and 10 minutes from glorious beaches on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

We are currently looking for 1 or 2 people to help us in and around the house and garden.

Our home is located in the center of Willunga. We are opposite the Willunga Golf Course, a 2 minute walk to the Farmers Market, and a 3 minute walk to the main street with a lovely range of shops and cafes.

If you love a peaceful environment, animals, good wine & food, board games, good humour and friendly banter... then you may just love spending some time with us in our home.

We love the company of young interesting people and look forward to meeting you.

Cheers,
Corina and Brian

We're looking for someone to stay at our place for 9 days while we have a short holiday. We have one 18 year old cat who needs feeding twice daily. Dates are 26 July to 3 August

Our cottage is only 30 minutes from Adelaide's CBD, and less than an hour to the Barossa. Situated at the end of a no through road, it is a beautiful spot. Our next door neighbours are organic herb farmers and always have international helpers staying, so there is the opportunity to socialise.

You will have access to a motor vehicle if needed. Aside from the cat feeding, we may negotiate some light work, no more than 2 hours per day.

We are looking for someone with excellent references and a love of cats, as Heidi is at a stage of her life that on a cold winter's night she demands a nice friendly lap in front of a crackling wood fire. Or if the sun is shining sit out on the deck and look for kangaroos and koalas.

We are located in the midst of an important estuarine area North of Adelaide on St Vincent Gulf. The tidal areas include sandy/rocky beaches, mangrove forests and rare red samphire meadows. The habitat is a sanctuary for coastal birds, sand and mud crustaceans, and nursery for the fish and prawns of which the Gulf is famous, including King George Whiting.

We are seeking caretakers with their own accommodation.

The property is located on an unsealed road off Port Wakefield Road less than an hour from Adelaide. The locality is so unusual and remote, (even though only 50 minutes from Adelaide), it has been used in a number of films, including recently RED DOG. The property is on the beach front, surrounded by native plants and mangroves that require rubbish and weed removal.

We need help with keeping the amenities clean, plants watered and maintaining gardens.

My property is 13kms from Mt Gambier and I go into town almost everyday. It's between the ocean and Mt Gambier. Mt Gambier is half way between Melbourne and Adelaide along the coast. The property is quiet, serene, plenty of fresh air with chooks, bottle fed goats, cattle and two dogs. The garden is about one acre in size, takes 3 hours to mow the lawn on a rideon mower.

I've been caring for my mother who has recently gone into a Nursing Home and I've just purchased her place. I'm still attending to my mother. I've done the garden up, I need help with cleaning the house and windows. Gutters need cleaning out. Some handyman jobs I can't do and happy to learn.

I've travelled overseas for two years and lived and worked in various countries. I love to hear about your adventures, your country and your experiences. I've had many Helpx helpers in the past whilst living in Adelaide, and loved having them stay becoming good friends.

Perfect for experiencing a farmstay, you ... more inside

Offering a room with trundle bed and tv in 3 bedroom house. Bathroom/kitchen are shared (but have spare toilet). Backyard/lounge/dine areas communal.
The help required mainly involves babysitting and occasional housework (if any). If you have experience with toddlers and are a non smoker and flexible with time (as may not know in advance the exact times I need help) this can be for you!
Ideally your personality blends with ours, we are happy healthy sensible people who are interested in other cultures and love meeting new people. You will need to be reliable, honest and trustworthy and be familiar with typical toddler behaviour. If you enjoy cooking, bonus! Help is needed so I am sometimes free to run errands alone or maybe even go to work for a few hours or just taking a break from my toddler. I also have an older child who will enjoy hanging out with you after school sometimes and/or on the weekend at intervals.
