Hello there. We're a small family of three (one female, and two children aged 10 and 8). We also have three pets -
a beautiful dog and two lovely cats, who are also
part of our family. Looking to enjoy different cultures and welcoming new people into our household.

The arrangement that would suit us is 2 hours a day of work (which can be combined into as many days as you wish), free accommodation - your meals would be at your own expense and preparation. Types of work is general household cleaning as well as painting walls (lots of fun with colours!) and some light packing and gardening.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Single Helpers 25 years or older preferred. Sorry, I am not able to sign visa sponsorships.

I live 9 kilometres outside the small town of Mossman, surrounded by sugar cane fields, rainforest and mountains. There are beautiful uncrowded beaches, National Parks and of course The Great Barrier Reef. It's a great place to be for a while. The weather is tropical, and very warm year round. Note it is very humid in the summer. Winters are perfect with warm sunny days and cooler nights. I may not always have time to show you around, but you will enjoy the area's natural beauty. There is so much to see and do.
You will have your own bedroom with a double bed. It is a good house, modern, comfortable, with rustic charm, there is a large outdoor patio, with pool, and landscaped gardens. The property is an acre in size. It is very quiet here apart from the wild life that inhabits the area. I keep a flock of chickens, and some roosters, which provide happy eggs.

If you are looking for a true outback experience look no further. Werewilka station is a 130,000 acre cattle property located approx 1100km west of Brisbane in the Bulloo Shire.
Mustering goats on motorbikes with helicopter support is a regular task on Werewilka, so if you consider yourself to be very competent on a dirt bike in hard country you'll certainly enjoy this work. Fencing upgrades and repairs continue on Werewilka with new tracks being prepared by bulldozer to enable access to some of the more remote parts of the property so help is always required.
April is the start of first of the twice annual cattle muster on Werewilka so if you're looking for an experience and can ride a dirt bike this could be an opportunity you'll remember for a lifetime.
General household duties need to be attended to, this may be suitable for a couple if one of the couple is not comfortable performing more physical tasks.

A bus service operates from Brisbane to Cunnamulla several times e... more inside

Gidday,

We are looking for two sociable and easy going girls to come and work in our friendly outback pub. We are located in the old historical gold mining town of Ravenswood which is an hour and a half west of Townsville. The hotel was built in 1902, which is old for Australia, so it would have a few stories to tell you. Some would say that it is haunted, but don't worry we've been told they are friendly. So if you are looking to gain an experience of country Australia for some relaxation time then give us a call.

You will be working behind the bar and helping out if needed in the kitchen. Accommodation and meals are provided.

Sugarcane and passionfruit farm on the murray river, 5 mins from the Murray Falls National Park and 45 mins from the Mission Beach. The river borders 3/4 of property and is surrounded by beautiful landscape and mountains. Stay involves helping out in most aspects of the farm from planting sugarcane to picking and packing passionfruit and everything between. This would suit anyone interested in seeing and taking part in farming, from planting a crop to sending the produce. I would ask that applicants stay for a minimum of a month and work between 4-6 hrs a day 5 days a week. Accomodation is a large 4 bedroom brick home, with internet access, pay tv, airconditioning, as well as a car for helpx helpers to share as property is 30 mins from nearest town. So if you like fresh air, crystal clear creeks and rivers, and also don't mind getting your hands a little dirty and working outside, please apply.
