We run a Boutique Organic Winery and two vineyards in the village of Matakana, one hours drive north of Auckland. We sell our wines at local Farmers Markets and other events. We need help in the winery and also to look after the vineyards. The tasks are usually easy but repetitive, so it helps to have a fun team! Sometimes we need help to run our stalls at the market. We have a cool House Bus for helpers to stay in.

We grow Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay grapes in our vineyards. The wines we make are organic and free from added Sulfites. We also pick olives to make olive oil. Our house is located a short walk from the hip Matakana village, and a short drive from many beautiful beaches. We also have a swimming pool and lots of garden spaces. We have two dogs, a large ginger Tom cat and two pigs to keep you company. Our house is usually full of interesting people so visiting is always fun!

Hello! We are a family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. We have a small rural property 45mins north of Auckland. We have a small orchard, various vegetable gardens, native bush and landscaped gardens. We've got a bunch of stuff we'd like to do around the property so we need help in maintaining all of the above along with some small building projects. So experience in gardening, landscaping, building, child care, animals etc. would be helpful. However more importantly, we are looking for people who are nice to be around, who have a good work ethic and are able to teach us about their part of the world while we introduce you to ours! Ideally the period of stay would be a few days at a time, but we're totally flexible if the right people came along! We offer 4 or 5 hours of work per day in return for accommodation, food and wifi. The accommodation is a standalone studio that gives you privacy and comfort. Having your own transport would be beneficial as public transport is prett... more inside

We're a family with two children and one live-in aupair who lives on a small lifestyle section just north of Auckland. We have a heated pool (only for summer!) and spa (all year long!) along with a beautiful large garden, trampoline, and plenty of peace and quiet excepting the crowing of our backyard rooster - who is quite tame and lovely.

We are 15 minutes to beaches along Hibiscus Coast or North Shore's eastern bays, 10 minutes to the Albany mall, or 30 minutes out to the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.

We need assistance around the house and yard with light cleaning and maintenance and occasional childcare.

We're keen to host traveling companions or small families who like to share their interests and knowledge on a variety of topics and add joy and interest to our lives while helping us contain the chaos that can be part of 5-8 people in a house (you included!).

You'll need to commit to at least 2 weeks and we prefer a month and have a car as there is no pu... more inside

Bev runs an organic pastoral farm specialising in livestock breeding suitable for organic or biological methods.
Bev is active in running the biological farmer regional group with field days The farm have been chosen as a demonstration flagship site for the nearby Kaipara Estuary Restoration project and work closely with them to restore natural habitat on the farm to protect the Kaipara harbour.
The farm is essentially a restorative agricultural enterprise with a significant educational off farm endeavour.

At present (autumn 2016) we are looking for some one to live in the self contained accommodation and look after the teenage kids whilst we are away on conference leave.
It is really about keeping a steady ship and kids on track. No farm work as mostly all done at the moment. Just the sundry dogs and cats that the kids feed. There is plenty to keep occupied in the run up before we leave.
Barry comes three times a week to do property maintenance.

We have a small lifestyle farmlet, with chickens, big vege garden, pond and a large house.
There is also a guest house loft (beautiful view over the valley ) with bathroom an toilet
We are vegetarians, sometimes fish, we bake our own bread, cakes and make preserves like jam and pickles. We try to live off the land although not big, it works and we do not buy much in.

The work is mainly house work, gardening as in weeding, digging, cleaning chicken run, pruning and at the moment harvesting and preserving, juice making, jam cooking.
We expect 5h work per day 6 days /per week. We do not offer any sightseeing or extras, but we strongly believe in :"what goes around comes around"
We are members of Wwoof for some 15 years and had guests in our house on a regular basis.
