Welcome to Millaa Millaa which is situated on the southern end of the Atherton Tableland, 97km from Cairns and 55km from Innisfail. As the farm is 3,000 feet or 891m above sea level the climate is very pleasant with little humidity and temperature is rarely above 25 degrees Celsius. Average rainfall is 120 inches per year which is why Millaa Millaa is famous for waterfalls.

We have a small farm, 129 hectares (320 acres) and beef cattle are our main industry. We breed cattle and fatten steers. We also breed Border Collie dogs and stock horses.

We welcome any one to come and stay.

There are many interesting places to see and visit close to Millaa Millaa both on the Atherton Tableland and in Cairns and Mission Beach.
Renovations to our house are almost finished; it is a large Queenslander with 7 bedrooms so there is plenty of space. We have internet access. The farm is less than 1km from town and about 2km from Millaa Millaa falls where you can safely swim. We have several q... more inside

We are a short-stay accommodation venue, newly opened with 15 fully-furnished apartments. We need help mainly with cleaning rooms, but also handywork and garden maintenance. People with experience in hotel cleaning would be very welcome!

We will soon have further openings for cleaners and would need someone for a minimum of four weeks. We are probably looking to take a couple on towards the end of November.

We provide a flat within the main building with a double bed, kitchen and shower. It's old, but clean and spacious, and there is a TV with Foxtel Netflix and wifi. Food can be provided or you can cook your own. Food and accommodation are covered by three/four hours a day, and there is extra paid work available depending on your skills which will be more cleaning or general handywork around the development.

We are right on the edge of town so you are not out in the sticks but you are surrounded by open country and it's very peaceful. We also have three cats who liv... more inside

We are a couple with an 8 year old son.
We live in Maleny (Sunshine Coast Hinterland) -1 hour drive to Noosa, 1hr 10min to Brisbane airport.
Maleny is a lovely green area in the hills surrounding the Sunshine Coast. The people in Maleny are very friendly and mostly Eco, artistic and alternative.
Our house is walking distance to town. The town is small and cute with lovely unique shops and also grocery stores. There is a bus stop which can take you to Landsborough bus and train station where you can connect to go to the beach or Brisbane if you don't have your own transport.
We would like some helpers to come and stay for a while to help us work on a vegetable garden & other gardening like mowing & especially weeding. Also general house cleaning & cooking if it is raining.
If we get along then you may be able to stay longer. Mostly it is just me (Aleicia) and my son at home. Ollie works away but is home every second week.

We are a family run business operating an Oyster Farm on sunny Moreton Island. We are happy to accept travellers and have had some wonderful experiences with wwoofers already.

Duties include, building water infrastructure, making oyster bags, culling and sorting Oysters, general farm hand on the land base.

Moreton Island is remote even though close to Brisbane, we have to generate our own power via solar and also collect our own rain water. If you love nature, hiking, reading or taking photos, you will love it here.

Accommodation is a caravan on site and a studio apartment. First in best dressed for that one.
We supply food which is eaten with the family, except breakfast, we give you that for you to have in your room. If you have a favorite meal you would like to share, we are more than happy with that.

Moreton Island is a National Park, you can go swimming, fishing, Kayaking, bush walking or just lay on the beach in the sun.
