Hello, we are Sarah (27 years), Timo (35 years), baby David (born July 2016), dog Sturmi and pony Egon. We just moved into our first own flat (as in: "Oh my god, we really BOUGHT a flat, when did that growing up stuff happened?!) in a city called Achim, which is directly next to Bremen.

In July 2016 we got a baby so we are still figuring out how our new life will be. We love being outdoor and Sarah spends a lot of time with her horse and our dog. We both work from home.

While staying with us you can explore Bremen (we live within walking distance to the train station and the train takes 10 minutes), explore the nature around where we live, go hiking with us and the pets or just relax and fill up your batteries.

As we just moved into our flat there is some basic work in it still to do, such as organizing our stuff, cleaning, helping us to make it look a bit nicer...

If you like cooking - great!! We love to eat different kind of foods but often dont have the time to cook ... more inside

We live in a small village (national park "Lauenburgische Seen") in the area which used to be between east and west Germany. Our house completely built with natural materials (wood, clay) and needs some attention from time to time.

In our fruit, vegetable and flower garden we also need some help. We keep two cats, ducks, sheep (a realy old breed), chickens and lots of bees, which spend us some honey. We try to keep the bees in a nature way. Our sheep will go in July to a nature area next to us and will keep the vegitation low for the crains.
Together with two familys, we have the "Guteschafgilde Schaalsee", wich is a kind of cooperative for keeping sheep together, work with their products, make conservation and to keep these 3000 jears old race. So you could learn to worke with the sheep, to give milk to our bouttlelamb, about the wool, spinning, colouring it.

Further we try to make the garden as a home to a diversity of animals and plants and get our own food from it. We love... more inside

Hi everyone !
I'm Sébastien french helper currently in Martin's place.

Here just 3 km north of Lemgo city you'll find a really nice house with a nice organic garden and super cool animals like goats, pigs, chickens, dogs,.... and just besides it, there's Martin's really interesting company making furnitures and building by reusing old stuff. And of course you'll also find this philosophy in the rest of Martin's place.

You'll have to take care of the animals, feed them ,go to walk with the dogs. And also making some gardening at your own pace.

You'll have your own room and bathroom, with every thing you need (bicycle, wifi,.....) and Martin is a great cook. Of course he'll love to let you cook some speciality ;)

I am situated in a beautiful region in NE Germany, called the Wendland and I am running (together with a team of five people) a big workshop (former cow shed) for making celtic harps in all different shapes and (custom) designs. I would like to being helped to optimize and reorganize the workshop and the exhibition space. This includes moving things, cleaning spaces and organizing things and simple carpentry. There is also work outside in our terrain premacultural gardening. Children care with a 2 jear old boy as well. And I would like to restore a little building (former chicken barn) into a beautiful exhibition space. This includes brickwork, restoring the walls with clay, restoring the floor and finally painting.
Friends live with us on our ground (Jurte and Waggon) and we are friendly, open-minded people, working with our hands, creativity and political engagement. I am looking forward to meet you, to share daily life (we will cook together)
You might have some insight in har... more inside

We need EXPERIENCED Builders now! We have 1 nice room available to stay in from June 7 until the end of June 2017, maybe a bit more. This may be the last month we can afford to do this so we need to jam work out fast and with good quality during our finishing phase.

If you are not an experienced builder then you are still welcome to stop by and help out and enjoy the network but we only have one room!

We are building and indoor tree house in the style of Gaudi-Lord of The Rings-Avatar to be used as a space for meaningful engagement in local sustainable development in 6 dimensions (Personal, Ecological, Aesthetic, Culture, Economic & Social - PEACES).

We are looking for people who can help build with clay, wood, ceramics/mosaic and other sustainable building materials and processes. We want to build an indoor vertical permaculture garden as well. We are also looking for people to help us document our story in sound, video, photo and various other creative expressions.

Hello, my name is Michael. A single father & a hig school teacher with a 3 year old boy. I speak German and English and a poor little Chinese. My son lives with his mother elsewhere during the weekdays and stays with me on the weekend. I live in a quiet village, 45 minutes away from Berlin center by S- and RB Regionalbahn 36 ( RB36 to Königs Wusterhausen Station €3.30/Berlin ABC ticket ). Our house is 15 minutes away from Station Königs Wusterhausen by car, I can drive & pick you up from Station once a week probably. Please note you will be home alone from 8am to 3pm on the weekdays when I'm working at school so you will need to arrange your own free time at home.

I'm looking for a self-motive, tidy & non-smoking and no drugs person who can stay at least 2 weeks (Long-term volunteering is welcome) to help me with:

1. Friday to Sunday: 2 to 4 hours of babysitting my 3 year old boy in the evening or afternoon. I'll be around, just need a break and calm down. He's a very swee... more inside

We are a family with three children (3 (Anna), 8 (Markus), 11 (Sabine) years old). We need help from Monday to Friday in the morning for 3-4 hours and afternoon for 4-5 hours. Therefore we are looking for two people. The work is simple: cook lunch and dinner, play with the little one, do some activities with older kids, etc. We would like our oldest daughter to practice and improve her English. So if your English is good, would be great if you can spend one hour a day for private lessons with her. Markus also speaks English. And Anna grows bilingual, as Marie talks German to her, and Franz only English. Basically, you won't have problems communicating with kids.
We are looking for two people to stay with us at the same time, but not necessarily travelling together, but couples are also welcome. If you are a couple you can stay in the same room. If you are travelling alone you will have a room all for yourself. We prefer if you stay at least for one month, preferably also longer. We... more inside

The old clayhouse is in a beautiful little village with 320 inhabitans. behind the castle is a big forest and the stillness is just awsam.
I like to find out what human beeing realy means and for me its boring to live old patterns and be a slave of it.so what is real and what is conditioning.

I like to build with clay, stroh, leim, wood and other natural materials.
Also creativ gardening makes me curious

In the moment we need help in May and June.
We (57,58) live in a cosy house surrounded by a garden. Our three children do not live with us anymore, but come by sometimes. We raise our own organic vegetables in several raised beds and normal garden beds and in a green house.
Most help we do need to care for our garden.
But we also do some renovation work in the house and would be grateful for some help.

We live in a small rural village in the beautiful hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt are easily to reach. There is good public transportation to all these cities.

We try to bring some permacultural aspects into our garden and are very interested in learning about how we can improve that.
We expect you to help about 3-4 hours a day for 5 days a week, but we are not strict about times, you may set up your own schedule... People stay with us for roughly 1 - 2 weeks.
Mostly I cook vegetarian foo... more inside
