My house is on the Pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella, and pilgrims can stay the night in the village. From mid-July to the end of August 2014 I will need a hand with physical tasks such as gardening, building a shed, DIY, plumbing and painting! There are plenty of good walks around, two nearby bars, a largish town 10 minutes away, and the River Lot. There are a couple of spare bicycles if you fancy cycling in which case I will probably join you! The village is listed as one of France's most beautiful. If you like meeting people, improving your French and enjoying a relaxing lifestyle, this could be for you! You will have your own bedroom with a shower and toilet just outside.

We are Peter & Lya and we are a dutch couple who lives in France. The name of our village is Besse et Saint Anastaise - Puy de Dome - Auvergne-France.
We like it here very well. We live in a beautiful surroundings in the mountains.

A girl/woman who wants to live with us but will also stand on her own feet. We have for you an apartment in the center of Besse. Living room/ bedroom, includes the shower and toilet, kitchen. Everything is fully furnished. You can eat regularly with us. For the other days we take care that you have food in your fridge.

Our Holiday house is part of an old farm in a beautiful village in the foothills of the Pyrenees. We really enjoy outdoor activities, walking climbing, mountain biking etc and it would be great if we could find some helpers who felt the same or would like to be guided in these activities in return for work. The jobs we have are mainly basic renovation under guidance,gardening and occasional baby sitting for Luca 10 and Ben 8. The helpers will have their own bedroom and will have access to wifi. We have bikes and climbing gear to borrow. We are on the train line so you can easily get to Toulouse or in the winter you can get the train to the ski resort of Ax-le-Thereme.

I'm hosting a mountain hut, and astronomical observatory since a few years from mid Juin to mid September. It's 1900 meters high, on the top of the mountain, the view from there is incredible! The sunsets as well. It's a very isolated place, you need to walk to get there, but it's so beautiful, it's worth it!
It's a hut, so there is not much comfort (not much electricity, no hot water, no real shower, dry toilets with panoramic view!). The place can host up to 16 people, and the job consists in cleaning and cooking mainly. I just passed a cooking exam, so as well as getting free accomodation and food, you'll get free access to the astronomical course (with a 305mm telescope), and even cooking "lessons".

Hello. We are a young couple, Camille (english) and Nicolas (french).
We are going to have a baby at the end of july and we wish to welcome a few people in our home in June (from now to the 30th of june) to help us do a bit of construction/building work on the house.
We are both street performers, circus, theatre, music...etc
We live in a pretty farm house in Brousse, a small village in the south of France located 1 hour away from Toulouse.

Due to unforseen circumstances we are urgently looking for some lovely helpers to stay with us for a while! What we would looking for would be:
1) someone to help us out at home - mainly with household tasks (cooking, cleaning and similar) dog walking, etc (preferably with driver's licence) and/or
2) someone who wants to come help out with manual work - decorating and renovating and rather a lot of gardening...
or a combination of the two! We'd prefer at least a 4 week stay!

Hello, we are a little French family, self building our house.
It 's an ecologic house.
During the week of 14th to 18th july, we'd like to receive two helpers to work with us in our house : we'll have to renew the skin of the walls, with mud and lime.
We want to receive people who aren't scared with physical work, who really want to share with us (including daily tasks), who want to meet us, our friends, our ways of living...
We like it, to discover new people and new ways of thinking...
For accomodations, we have a caravan, which can receive one people or a couple (anyway we have lived in three caravans during six years, and it's nice!).
We have a nine years old boy, who likes to play, sing and run..., and a three years old little boy, trying to follow his brother !
We are in a beautiful place near a little village and the mythic Brocéliande forest.
There are great rides to do in this area.
We eat organic and mainly vegetarian food.

Hi there! We’re looking NOW for a ‘general helper’ girl from 22 June, to look after us and a fun young team of volunteer guys who are helping us to restore our third property in the beautiful mediaeval town of Pezenas in Mediterranean France. :)
THE ROLE : You’ll be the “Team Support Person”, doing housework, helping to prepare meals, other varied things, and generally supporting us and our team. (See below for details.) If you want (and if you have the skills) you can have an expanded role, giving additional help with our tourism business.
