We are looking for a part time cook for a 130,000 acre sheep and cattle station in the Riverina.

You will be provided with accommodation on the property.

You're required to cook for 6 - 8 people a day (including yourself) - three hours in the morning and two hours in the evening, Monday to Friday (except no Friday nights). Big spacious kitchen with fresh eggs, citrus trees and a veggie patch to use.

It's a beautiful farm with a 3 acre garden down on a river, only 40 minutes drive to a large regional centre - 15 mins to a iconic local pub. It's a unique Australian experience and a bit of an adventure...

Please only apply if you're a good cook!

We are a friendly laid back family of 5 with 3 young boys living just 4min walk from the beach. I'm a photographer and work from home.

We are after an experienced male painter to help repaint walls and windows in exchange for board.
6 days at 5 hours work per day with Sunday off. Probably 10 days work but will be prepared to offer additional cash to work an 8 hour day. Need to be a non smoker. You will have your own bedroom but share a bathroom. Must be friendly, be tidy, love to eat and cook fresh and healthy food.

This is an amazing location with sun all day and just a stroll to beach and shops. We have a pet magpie, snake, chickens and bees.
Love the garden but it's neglected, so if you're up for some gardening / herbs & vegetable planting, that would be great and could be mixed in with the painting work.

Hi there,
Am looking for one person for one week between now and 26th December. I prefer to have the weekends off, am sure you do too. The work will be a painting job on the outside of the house upstairs, a small job actually, plus sealing a small deck. As well there's work upgrading the vegie garden - I need to top up several beds with soil and plant them out. So the work is not too heavy for a young strong person, male or female. There may be a bit of heavy weeding as well which I can no longer do, I do the fine weeding!
I like to cook Asian food in particular, and my diet is very healthy, lots of fruit and vegies. I am not vegetarian, I also eat organic meat sometimes and fish sometimes. The beach as you can see is delightful and as I prefer to work for 2 hours in the morning between 9 and 11 and 2 hours in the evening between 3 and 5 pm you will have plenty of time during the day to enjoy it. The water is warm now, the walks are great too.
If you think this sounds as though ... more inside

Hello HelpX'ers,

My small acreage is a hardwood plantation forest allotment, way off the beaten track about 2 hours inland from Byron Bay in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.

It's very peaceful and quiet, with the nearest small town about 20 minutes drive away. I'm seeking help with general farm activities like tree pruning (with a pole-saw), fencing, gardening, painting, clearing and some minor building work.

I will provide food and accommodation for four hours work a day. Accommodation will be in a separate abode with satellite television and a stereo. A fantastic hammock under the veranda will help when you're not working. It is an excellent space for reading and contemplation. I'm also open to great cooking and conversation.

I have a wireless internet connection but with limited download capacity. We also have Telstra mobile phone coverage.

The area is relatively remote so having your own car would help. However, I could pick up HelpX'ers from Lismo... more inside

I am located about 20 minutes south of Grafton near the village of Coutts Crossing (and about 1 hour from Coffs Harbour).
Modern comfortable home with 2 guest bedrooms - guest will have to share their own bathroom with other guest - if any (I have my own bathroom).
Bedding arrangements - Bed 1 - double bunk with a single bed on top - double on the bottom; Bed 2 - single bed.
WiFi available, I have a bath, laundry facilities etc.
Most of the work is fairly basic - mainly just house or yard work - nothing to onerous.
Single gay Dad.
I have 2 beautiful daughters aged 9 and 25 who often stay - so they may want there bedrooms then.
It is strongly recommended that you have your own motor vehicle as I do live in the country and there is no public transport available near my home and I work 5 days a week in Grafton - so I am not home during the day on weekdays.
