Two holiday cottages with a garden that needs ongoing maintenance plus we sometimes need help with maintenace of the cottages. Daylesford is a vibrant country town in Victoria's Central Highlands. There's plenty to see and do in the area which is known for its bushwalking trails.

We don't live at the cottages but that's where helpers will be accommodated. You'd have to do your own food preparation so am happy if you only work 2 hours per day.Weekends not available as that's when we get most of our bookings.

You can get the train from Melbourne to either Woodend or Ballan and we can pick you up from the train station.

My daughter, her two children aged 12 and 8 and I live on a 5 acre property in the rainforest about 8 minutes from Mullumbimby and 25 minutes from Byron Bay. We live in separate cottages (daughter and kids in the big one and me in the other). We currently need help with care of the two children, just getting them ready for school and picking them up just 3 or 4 days a week and possibly one weekend day, after that your days are free. Some cooking and cleaning also will be required and possibly some gardening if there is time (especially if there are two of you). On offer is a lovely caravan positioned right next to the house with easy access to a very comfortable bathroom. You can cook in the caravan if you want independence or have meals in the beautifully renovated kitchen with ocean views. In exchange for food and accommodation you would be expected to do about 20 hours work per week. The children are terribly well behaved and independent so the work is not arduous, others ... more inside

HOME RENOVATION PROJECT IN MULLUMBIMBY - BYRON BAY.

I am renovating my 110 year old home and I am looking for a workers to come and live in - in exchange for help with the project. I would love workers with some building, labouring and carpentry experience, and I am also open to energetic people who are up for giving things a go and learning new skills.

It is an active happy, active home, good vibes, in to music, surfing and adventure. The house is right in the cute town of Mullumbimby which is the gateway to the hills of Byron Bay and home to the local community of the shire - it is 10 mins drive from Byron Bay - or fairly easy to hitch hike. However having a car is helpful if you wanted to get to the night life of Byron Bay. Open to short or longer term.

Please call or email me if you are interested!

The help/exchange we would ask for would be general household duties, plus helping create a chook proof vegetable garden. Mullumbimby is a beautiful country town, with a colouful and creative culture. It is 15 minutes to Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads.
