Thank you to everyone, I am booked until end of June.
Homestay in beautiful Raglan, direct access to the beach.
I am looking for help in a very large garden that runs down to the beach. Beautiful views while you work!
I am also looking for help with cleaning, some painting and general home maintenance both inside and outside. The hours of work would be 4 hours a day and we can work these out to suit your day and mine.
It is not necessary to be experienced in either but if you are-great!
I would expect a cheerful helper who is willing to work as hard as i do.
In return, I can guarantee you will fall in love with the views and the beach at the bottom of the garden. I can provide a separate to the house studio to stay in with a fridge and basic cooking facilities. The shower and toilet is separate to this but will be for your own use.
Breakfast I will put supplies in your studio and I will provide morning tea, lunch and an evening meal.
There is access to free wifi.

I am a... more inside

Hi, we are looking for couple or female (as we are not comfortable with us home with a single male stranger) to come and stay and help with domestic chores, gardening, cleaning, cooking and maybe look after our kids. Would like someone who could stay for a week or two and welcome to stay longer if it is a good match for everyone.
We have a double room with a double bed available.
We have recently shifted to a lifestyle block and are currently putting in gardens and fruit trees. My partner is originally from Hong Kong and we have three children who are 8, 6 and 3 years old. We try to eat as clean and healthy as possible as our kids had food allergies and intolerances and try to cook our meals from scratch. We are also eco friendly family, our sewage system is a natural process system therefore we can't use any strong products/chemicals.

We are on River Road between Hamilton and Ngaruawahia. 10mins drive from town and we prefer someone who has their own transport.

We have a BBQ availablible, your own microwave and hot plate, with your own fridge in the kitchen cabin. We have a bike to use, itís for HelpX helpers.
It's very cool to stay here free and simple. Fruit trees galore, 3 types of plum, 3 types of apples and mandarins, Oranges, grapefruit, all to pick and share. We ask for 2 hours work per day for lodgings, easy work however.
We are working on the place all the time. Pool also has been overhauled, hence my daughters 22 and 24 are always here.
We have had some awesome people here over last summer, be great to see someone else to visit over this autumn and winter. Property up keep is all we would like help with now, couples and families... more inside

** 1 HOUR WEEDING TO STAY IN YOUR OWN TEENY TINY CABIN**

Hello, we are Chris, Susie and our son Fergal. We have a small 2 acre section 5 minutes drive out of Raglan town that is in the process of regenerating as bush with thousands of native trees planted.

Work is WEEDING and FREEING TREES FROM WEEDS.

This is sweaty, physical, muddy and prickly work but for only 1 hour of self-directed work per day it is perfect setup for many people wanting some Raglan time :)

Extra points if you know something above native trees so you can help nurture our little baby trees.

We can offer you accommodation (no food) in your own very basic 2 bed rustic cabin (6sqm) with composting toilet and outside shower in exchange for 1 hour help per day.

If you don't have your own car then we can provide you a bicycle however it is a hilly 20 minute bike ride to town and a very hilly 1 hour bike ride to the surf so please bear this in mind if you want to be surfing every day...

* We would love to find somebody to help us in the next few weeks - especially with the garden or woodwork. Get in touch if you are free! *

We are a young family of three (30, 31 and 1yr old) that live on a small lifestyle block in Te Pahu about 20/25 minutes drive west from the centre of Hamilton. We have a few paddocks, the property is scattered with fruit trees (avocado, lemon, mandarin, feijoa, tangelo, apple, plum, peach, passionfruit and nectarine!) and 2 calves. We also have a few raised beds with lots of veggies growing.

Originally from the UK, we both speak English and my wife speaks a little French. The house is a three bedroom family home with your own double bedroom. We of course supply fresh bedding, linen and internet. There is a shared family bathroom.

We enjoy improving the property and could do with help with a number of jobs like painting, fence maintenance, livestock help, gardening, fruit picking, cleaning inside and out, finding uses for all our frui... more inside

This is a community of people that are passionate for the earth and sustainable living. We are slowing working towards sustainability. There is quite a lot of different verify of jobs here. Gardening, composing, tree planting, land care, animal care, building maintenance, roading, water and waste management. At the moment as we are coming into winter our main focus is getting all the drains cleared, roading, spaying of weeds and painting of buildings. In our spare time we have a lot of nice zones to relax in, we like to mix music, surf and create art.

I have availability from 11th June for a couple of weeks. I need help with the children, housework and walking Alfie the dog. You would need to have experience and interest in looking after little children, like dogs and ideally have your own car. We love having people who are enthusiastic and happy and able to fit into a family easily.

We are a family living about five minutes drive from Raglan town. We have two young children, aged 4 and 10, one of whom I homeschool and a young lively dog and a lovely home close to the harbour, with just a short walk down to a gorgeous little beach. We need help with gardening, general housework and childcare. We provide a pleasant private room and mostly organic meals for 4 hours work per day.

We love Raglan, enjoy watersports and are happy to help you have a great time!
